i get annoyed with double dipping... i know its weird but i do lol

Yeah, I don't like double dipping either, thought it would be a good fun debate question.

I love doeuble dipping. I don't see what the big problem is. I guess if you're sick, you should have enough courtasy not to, but other than that, who cares?

I don't do it usually, because I know it's rude and annoys people, but I don't see anything wrong with it! With family or close friends, I will probably double dip.

Double dipping is bad. And, like jighooligan, my mind too went somewhere else at the seeing the words "double dipping". ;D

If you're not sharing, then go ahead. Sometimes you just need more dip :)

But if you're sharing with others, as long as everyone else is okay with it, I don't see a problem.

If you don't really know the people who you're the dip with, then it's probably not a good idea.

Other than that, I do NOT get why people make such a big deal about it. It's not like you're licking each other's tongues. It's a freaking bite spot touching the food. And if it's family/friends, I actually find it a little offensive if they say, "Ew, don't double dip!" :-/ Yeah, weird, I know.

I have no problems with it unless you are sick, but otherwise go ahead really what bothers me more are the coughers that bugs me. come on if you are going to cough over food at least cover your mouth.

Dip the chip, stick it in your mouth and if you want to dip again then get a fresh chip.

well...the problem is i don't want the chip to be loaded up with dip or have to shovel the chip + large dump of dip in my mouth in one movement, i eat small :) double dipping means lots more flavour...sure it's not right but i still do it and hope no one else will.

If your eating it by yourself then I think it's fine, but when your sharing it with other people, including your family, I think it's gross.

oh i though double dipping meant putting it in one dip and then another to have two flavors on one dip- that's not cool! cause it mixes it all up

but as for double dipping by biting it and then dipping it again, also not cool cause it makes other uncomfortable, do what i do, snap the chip in half, makes double dipping okay and plus you an just put it all in your mouth with out worrying about biting it and dip dripping :D

I only double dip if I'm eating it by myself.

i think it's because some people are uncertain on politics they are more likly to sit on the fence, where as this is something small so people will just pick

you will note the obama pick has stronger comments though than a fun debate like this

Okay, there's 3 topics I try hard not to get into a discussion about: religion,politics and abortion. Reason being that people have such vast opinions on these matters and most of the time it tends to get out of hand and turns into a battle (or words anyway).
But I just want to make a couple of points:
firstly, I actually am interested in what went on with the presidency election (so much so that I was de-fanned as I result of some comments ...but that's water under the cauldron now)
secondly, I don't believe your statement that "no one cares how America has violated human rights ...etc,etc" is a fair or accurate one. I believe most people do care what happens to other people.

Ok its kinda disgusting but its not a big deal. It WONT kill you or anything. If youre sick than maybe you shouldnt but if youre in a good health/status then its alright.

Generally...against it. I mean, if I trust the other peoples' cleanliness and health enough then I would probably not make a big stink over it. But just in general, I usually don't do it, unless I'm turning the item around to a clean side before re-dipping.

Unfortunately for you nitpickers, there is no law mentioning it one way or anther.

I wasn't aware there needed to be a law about a certain topic before it could be debated.

I don't really care. Unless someone is sick, it doesn't bother me.

I have a really bad immune system. Someone else could be carrying a bacteria/virus and not be ill, but when transferred to me (via double dipping for example) I probably will get ill. And fever=hospital for me, even when it is just a cold or something.

So no, for my health and because I do not like it if I have to be hospitalised, I would like it if people did not do that.

When you're with friends or strangers, I'd call it a bit gross.

But when you're with relatives or anyone who feel exceedingly close to, although I wouldn't necessarily call it perfectly fine I guess I wouldn't see the immense harm in it. :/

This dip is now MINE. Deal with it. Oh, and if you're going to the store to get some more dip, would you get me some soda, too? I'm almost out.

How about someone uses one side of the dip and the other person uses the other side?

My parents (to save money) used to make my siblings and I use the same straw and because of that I am grossed out by stuff like this.
