I only picked this because I personally hate facial hair, and love longer hair on myself. But other guys may feel differently, which is fine. I also love hats, and I think they should be able to where them (if they want to, of course). I hated how I wasn’t allowed to wear hats because it wasn’t “professional” enough. I mean, I don’t wear hats much now, but you get the point.

I feel like this is the same concept as the makeup thing; having facial hair (even if it’s a bit scraggly) doesn’t automatically = lazy or dirty.

^ Exactly. I can get behind being hygienic and clean etc. but everything beyond that is unnecessary.

That's fair, but I think that there should be leeway for homeless folks trying to get back on track.

I agree with you on that. Also I wanna explain that the ''unless you have a hobo beard'' part of my comment was not directed towards men who are actually homeless but at men who aren't homeless.

Oh yeah, that makes sense. Yeah I can see why you'd say that. If a person has the means I agree that they should at least try to have good hygine. I get that on some days you don't have the time of just can't do it (mental illnesses) but if you have good mental health and enough time, good hygiene can never hurt.
