Part One: Gravelkit turns into Gravelpelt
Today Gravelkit would become Gravelpelt, and one certain she-cat wasn’t very happy about this. Her name was Applepaw at the time Gravelpaw got her warrior name. “Yes, I do.” Gravelpaw said, Applepaw glared in the distance as it went on, she hissed and padded off. “You will now be known, as Gravelpelt.” Angelstar said, her eyes glinting in the moonlight.
Meanwhile, as Applepaw bounded down the empty trail, she heard a rustling in the bushes. “Oh, Applepaw, it’s only you.” Flashclaw meowed. Applepaw looked at Flashclaw, glaring. He was her mentor. “How is Gravelpaw-”
“Gravelpelt.”
“Yeah, whatever, how is Gravelpelt a warrior… it should be me with Angelstar!” Applepaw hissed. “I guess Leaffall was a better mentor.” Flashclaw said, his eyes misty ipinapakita slight sadness. “That’s not the case Flashclaw! It’s Fallenbird’s fault for even caring for her. She isn’t even her real mother.” Applepaw said, glaring, her eyes shot wide open. Gravelpelt was standing right behind Flashclaw.
“Sh- She isn’t?” Gravelpelt asked, her eyes wide and misty. “Gravelpelt, its… its true.” Flashclaw mewed sadly. Gravelpelt felt her puso drop. “No, it can’t be!” Gravelpelt meowed. She ran down back to the clan, Shadow Clan, and over to Fallenbird’s den. “You lied to me! You’re not my mother! I knew it! Titan really was my mother!” Gravelpelt hissed, then she padded away, into the forest again.
Applepaw padded back into Shadow Clan, hidden sa pamamagitan ng shadows, NO cat would see her. Angelstar padded by, her head down. Applepaw shot from the bushes, and pinned Angelstar. “Ready to lose your last life, Angelstar?” Applepaw mewed, most of her face covered in shadows. “App- Applepaw?!” Angelstar hissed. Then loud mewls and yips came from where they were, then silence. Gravelpelt padded over, and stared down at Angelstar. “No…”
Flashclaw came over to her, then examined her paws. “You couldn’t have killed her.” Flashclaw mewed, then looked over at bloody tracks leading into the forest…
