in a interview he sinabi he use dirty diana and diana as the name because that was a name that was most common in the tagahanga mail that he recived stating he was the father of her son as well as billie jean.{if u want to hear that story feel free to ask} and then from there he decided it was it fit best with the song.(:

I think he choose "Diana" to take his revenge on Diana Ross 'cause he had asked her to get married with him and she had refused and later she get married without advertising him and with a guy he didn't know.
