"Oh no, I don't need any help."
I roll my kakaw brown eyes. "Yes. You do."
I take a polka dotted maroon suitcase from my fiance's full arms.
He takes a deep, relieved breath. "Thank you."
"No problem." I give Shang a quick halik on his left cheek right before I head for the door.
"Wait!" I hear Shang call from the SUV.
He is carrying three of my bags but doesn't seem to have a problem with it. Since I am only holding one small suitcase in my hand.
"Yes, Shang?" I ask, rushing towards him.
Shang takes my one suitcase and motions me towards the door.
"Close your eyes." He says emphasizing the word eyes.
I do as I am told and Shang grabs a hold of my dainty hand.
Shang shuts the door behind us as if we are inside his home.
"I have a surprise for you." He whispers into my ear.
What could his surprise be? Shang's already surprised me many, many, many times in the time that we were dating. Like on Valentine's Day, he gave me a card that said, To me, everyday is Valentine's Day. Very cheesy but it was so adorable!
"Ta-da!" Shang lifts his large hand away from my eyes and I gasp at the view.
Don't get me wrong, I have been in Shang's tahanan before but not ever like this! Books are surrounding us everywhere. He must've remodeled for...me.
"Do you like it?" He asks me.
"Yes. I love it."
I throw my arms around Shang's neck and our lips come together.
"I'm so happy to hear you say that." Shang says after he pulls away from our passionate kiss.
"Help yourself." He sways his arm around to ipakita me the library.
I twirl with glee as I come closer to a shelf labeled, Romance Novels. I see my paborito book named, Attracted to You. As I grab it off the neatly organized shelf, I run towards Shang and smile.
"Shang, this is my paborito romance novel in the world! Could we...read it together?"
Shang gives me a giddy and nervous smile.
"Sure."
