Belle takes comfort in the presence that is her friend, her former lover from another life, but can not come to grips with the reality of her situation just yet. She trembles and shivers in the Prince's presence, feeling the cold dew of the air permeate through the rough texture of her robes. "If only I had stayed a deer," Belle thought solemnly to herself.
