Petition for a Treasure Planet sequel 

Word is that fans of the original Disney film, Treasure Planet, have been insistent about Disney's not making a sequel. We, too, should have our personal voices heard and let the studios of Disney come to light with the fact that there still are supporters of the creator's meticulous Treasure Planet. I know I'm on this bandwagon.

I would love for a Treasure Planet sequel, but most Disney sequels aren't very good, so I'm afraid of how it would turn out...

Also, why stereotype every Disney sequel as non-colorful and vibrant? I agree that the majority of Disney's direct-to-DVD releases are tasteless and bland in terms of animation and style, however being that close-minded will push us only farther away from the events of a Treasure Planet 2. Besides, technology has obviously improved over the last decade; surely Disney can create Treasure Planet's successor as astonishing and ravishing as Bambi II, if not better, although my bet's on the latter. Either way, it's going to take a while before we hear news of the studios' thoughts on Treasure Planet's sequel. *lesigh*
