Belle entered the royal stable with dry eyes. She had no idea where to go, or what to do. She wished she'd never yelled at her brother.
Her chest heaved out a sob. She had to leave quickly, before Charming could find her. She found a familiar kastanyas brown horse eating from a bucket of carrots in the corner.
She opened the wooden gate slowly. "Cyrus," she whispered. "Here boy, it's me, Belle, remember?" She petted his soft mane.
He whinnied in familiarity. His eyes looked as if he were saying, "What's wrong, Belle?"
"Everything," Belle replied to no one. She mounted the horse and whipped the reins.
They rode through the courtyard and stopped in front of the metal gate. Two guards stood before it, and they didn't look too happy.
Belle looked at the southern tower of the castle. "Open the gates!" she yelled.
The metal bars slowly rose, to the astonishment of the guards watching it.
"I'm afraid I can't let you leave, Princess," sinabi one of the guards, aiming his spear at Cyrus.
The other one nodded in agreement. "Your brother is looking for you, and it's too dangerous to be out there alone. We just shipped off a thief to the docks."
Belle gasped. "Which thief?"
"The servant girl who tried to steal from Lady Tremaine," he responded.
"I demand to be let out!" Belle moved Cyrus closer to the guards, fearless.
The guards looked behind her. She could hear someone yelling her name over and over again.
Charming. Half of her wanted to run into his arms, but she knew she couldn't do that, after what had happened.
"Belle, STOP!" he commanded. He was on a horse also, determined to stop her.
"Damn it," she muttered. "Ride, Cyrus!"
Cyrus leaped over the guards, snapping off the metal spades, and began riding toward the village.
Charming was close after her.
"We HAVE to get to those docks," she sinabi to herself. They rode up onto a grassy hill, where they could see a bangka pagkarga at the harbor.
"YAH!" They headed toward the docks, jumping over a few barrels and making them fall into the water.
"Sorry!" Belle yelled over her shoulders. She spotted an abandoned house on the edge of the cliff.
The bangka would be right under that cliff, she calculated. She pushed Cyrus to the cliff and ran inside. They climbed up a few stairs.
"Conquer your fears, Belle!" she ordered herself. The exhiliration was amazing; she couldn't even stop herself.
"Here it comes!" she yelled. "Be ready, Cyrus!"
But Cyrus wasn't ready. He slammed his hooves into the wooden floor, making them slide madami and madami towards the edge.
That was it. Before she knew it, Belle was flying.
She was screaming because of the adrenaline, not the fear, and wondered if she would ever come down. She knew she was going to plummet to the ground. She knew her family would be heartbroken when they find her bloody body smashed between the wooden boardings.
But she had good intention. At least she tried to get Cinderelly. Perhaps Charming would marry her afterward, in honor of his dead sister.
"Goodbye, Charming," she whispered.
She expected her life to end at that very moment, but instead, strong arms were holding her, and they were swinging through the air, holding onto a rope.
Charming let go of the rope and pulled out as dagger. He sliced it through the sail, and they were sliding down.
He landed on his feet, with Belle in his arms. She half anticipated him to be furious, but instead he squeezed her tightly.
He set her down on the ground. "Don't ever do that to me again," he whispered.
She weeped into his shirt. "I-I'm soooo sorry, Char," she sobbed. "I know you were confused, and I knew Cinderelly was the one for you--"
"I know," he interrupted. "It took all of this and two mice to convince me." He laughed halfheartedly. He looked away from her for a moment.
Belle turned her head. At last, her brother was staring into the eyes of the beautiful blonde maiden.
He ran up to her, where she saw them exchange a few words, and he embraced her. Belle almost whooped when she saw Charming kneel down on one foot, proposing.
"She sinabi yes!" Belle screamed, jumping into the air.
They both looked at her, laughing. Charming spun her around, smiling.

And finally, Belle knew everything was right.
