So, finally the last songs. Filler Songs are songs which serve no real purpose at all – they don’t really add something to the story, they normally turn up in filler or Comic-Relief scenes. And they are mostly something typical for the older Disney movies, so there are not that many overall.

5. The Little Mermaid: I only added “Daughters of Triton” here because I felt I had to mention it somewhere, but the piece is so short, I hesitate to take it into account at all. It's not bad, not at all, it serves it's purpose sa pamamagitan ng introducing Ariel's family, but that's madami or less all what is to it: Just a bunch of names, sung prettily.
So the rating is mostly based on “Les Poissons”. Before I made this pick, I had this one as third best. But some of the reactions in the pick really surprised me, so I took a really good look at the song, and the scene itself, and I suddenly realized how useless the whole sequence is. It’s pure comic relief with no purpose at all – Louis doesn’t even turn up again until the very end of the movie, for another pointless gag.

Fanpop says: Third best for “Daughters of Triton”, “Les Poissons” ended up as segundo worst “Odiosa! Pointless, arguably harmonious, and not that special at all.” (Lisia)

4. Sleeping Beauty: If there is one sequence in “Sleeping Beauty” I dislike, than the “Skumps” scene. It’s another one of those pointless comic relief scenes, and I could life with removing it from the movie altogether. And the song is barely a song at all. But it at least serves the purpose to ipakita the plans and hopes of those two fathers. It could have done better (as “Tangled” proves) and especially shorter, but it’s enough for me to put it on place three.

Fanpop says: Worst “i like what they say, i think its funny... but they don't sing that much in it... all they sings is "Skumps"” (DamianLUVR)

3. Snow White: I absolutely loathe “The Silly Song” and “The Washing Song”. The former is literally about nothing, and the latter about washing. But at least the melodies are somewhat catchy. And one could argue that “The Silly Song” works well to ipakita how carefree Snow White is while the Evil reyna hatches her evil plan (nice shift of mood in the movie).
And while I always was bored sa pamamagitan ng the washing scene, even as a little kid, it is a step in the character development of Grumpy. I always thought that he actually wants to wash too, but naturally he would never ever admit it. (And he certainly is the only thing which makes the scene bearable). It certainly serves well to demonstrate the dynamic between the dwarves.

Fanpop says: segundo best for “The Silly Song” (well, one had to get it, right?), third worst for “The Washing Song”

2. Cinderella: I really can’t tell what’s so fascinating about “Sing Sweet Nightingale”. The song has practically no text, the scene, while pretty to look at, serves no real purpose (although it does ipakita the contrast between the life of the stepsisters and the life of Cinderella), but it’s just a tune you can’t escape. And the scene is not one segundo longer than it should be.

Fanpop says: The clear winner, scoring madami than half of the votes. ” sa pamamagitan ng far-always loved this song” (ecpjll)

1. Yeah, I know, you are all wondering, what could have been better after all – well, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Aladdin”, “Pocahontas”, “Mulan”, “The Princess and the Frog” and “Tangled”. Because even better than having a good “Filler Song”, is having none at all. Some of those pelikula have songs I consider pointless, but they have been already downgraded in the related category for that.

Note: I don't have the technology to take pictures of my mga manika and display them on here. In order to see what they look like, I suggest going to websites like birago for the first couple of mga manika that I'll be reviewing.

For Christmas, I wanted to expand my nagyelo doll collection. Thankfully, that did happen. The first nagyelo film had several dolls, but they only made mga manika of four characters: Princess Anna, reyna Elsa, Kristoff and Prince Hans. I was able to collect one of each in addition to getting a segundo Elsa later on. The segundo nagyelo film has a madami impressive line of dolls. There's...

What I pag-ibig the most about Mulan is she's someone who was trained for battle but instead of depending on weapons to win the war, she uses strategy. It shows that you don't always have to rely on brute strength or weapons to win, you can use your own brain. It really bums me out that people forget that about Mulan and just remember her for learning how to fight. -BB2010

I pag-ibig her bravery, perseverance and how she's willing to disguise as a man and go off to war to save her father. -LMH5113

I pag-ibig Mulan's pag-ibig for her family. She loved her family so much that she would risk her own life to save...

Before we say goodbye to not just this taon but also this decade, it's time I write an artikulo that I wanted to write for a long time.
As a lot of you know, and for those who don't, nagyelo is a movie/franchise that means a lot to me. Without it, I wouldn't even be on this site. It all started back in October of 2014,when I started to form a crush on the fictional character of Elsa. Originally, it was because I thought she was incredibly gorgeous, and I still think so, to this day. But, as the days went sa pamamagitan ng and did madami of my research, I realized how similar Elsa was to me and I began to relate...

Wow, ok. It's been five years (oh lordy) since I last wrote one of these, and with a new princess officially in the lineup I think it's high time I revisited my list. Let's do this.

12. Rapunzel

Uuuuuuuuuuuuugh Rapunzellllllllllllllllllll I really wish I liked her madami than I do. The funny thing is that I actually think she's a great character and she's also one of my most relatable DPs, but despite this she just doesn't do it for me. There are two primary reasons for this. Firstly, she is not a particularly believable character for me. Seriously, no one would be that socially well-rounded after...

Today's rewatch: The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning
Last time watched: 2008

How much did I like this movie as a kid?

I didn't. Like, at all. In fact, after we see how Ariel's mom died that was it for me. Okay, so let me start from the beginning; If you've read my artikulo about TLM and TLM 2, you know that TLM is one of my most paborito pelikula and was a huge part of my childhood so when I was 15 years old I found out that there was going to be another movie of course I was excited!...

Something I've often sinabi in the past is one of the scariest type of villain is one that could exist in real life like Frollo, Bellweather, Lady Tremaine, and Mother Gothel. Gaston is definitely a villain that deserves to be on this list.

Some people will say he's too silly to be a scary villain or just isn't scary enough until the climax of the movie. But some people who have had to deal with their own Gastons in life will say differently.

First off, it's made pretty clear from the beginning that Gaston is a bully who has most likely never been told "no" and therefore can never take it for...

Unlike SB vs M, this one had some mixed results for some of the questions.

O = Original
R = Remake
O and R = Original and Remake

Favorite Cinderella
O 7
R 2

Ella and Sinderella were both equally good characters, they were both kind, both tried to make the best out of a bad situation, and both had courage. There are mixed feelings for Ella though; she was constantly smiling even when being insulted, she was ibingiay a poor reason to stay in her home, her character used the "always be kind" in a way that made her a doormat for her stepfamily even when her father was alive, and while the original Cinderella...

Tonight's rewatch: Both nagyelo shorts
Last time watched: 2018

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
Like Frozen, these shorts came out in my 20s so I wasn't a kid but like I sinabi before, I'm a kid at heart! I was hesitant to watch both shorts because I kept hearing a lot of nagyelo haters call these shorts cash cows and sinabi the holiday special was boring. I hardly heard anything positive about both shorts. I watched nagyelo Fever about a week or two after it premiered and I loved it and I finally watched Olaf's nagyelo Adventure around pasko time last taon and, again, loved it!

Why I love...
