Appearing only 18 minutos in the movie the adult Briar Rose/Aurora has the fewest screen time of any princess. She is often seen as having the most heroic prince, the one who braves a castle’s dungeon and a dragon to save his princess. This movie wasn’t as successful as Sinderella it was only a few years later that people saw the detail and different visual style that it held.

• During her 16th birthday, having lived with her parents her whole life, she receives four royal suitors who give her gifts. She is then ibingiay a spindle sa pamamagitan ng the disguised evil fairy, Aurora pricks her finger, the princes leave for their native countries out of fear. The last fairy arrives and places everyone in a sleep to awake when Aurora does.
• A hundred years later a Prince is on a hunting party and he departs unhappy to be alone, when the last fairy arrives with a vision of Aurora he’s lead to the kastilyo where he kisses her and the rest of the kingdom awake.
• Wedding preparations are made and mga engkanto invited and everything ends well for the happy couple.
The voice of Aurora is Mary Costa, after auditioning for the part she received a personal call from Walt Disney who told her she got the part. She would later go on to be a famous Opera singer she was even asked sa pamamagitan ng Jacqueline Kennedy to sing at her husband’s memorial service. She is still alive at the ripe age of 81, on April 5th of this taon (2012) she’ll turn 82.
