Let's face it: we live in a man's world. If you don't think that's true, slap yourself and take a look at the real world. Under Iranian Islamic law, if a woman isn't a virgin when she's married, she gets 100 lashes. Harsh. Men are even paid madami than women on average, and that's in the United States.

Now, I am a feminist. Before anyone throws something at me, I want to say that people are misconstruing feminism, and it's making me sick. Feminism isn't about burning bras or hating men, it's about equality. It's about a world where no gender is oppressed. And Disney can have a big part in that.

How? Think about it. What do most little girls want to be when they grow up? A princess. And where do they learn that? Disney. Now, of course that little girl will have her dreams crushed, but the time she spent waiting for Prince Charming could have been used doing something useful. Take it from Tiana, "Fairytales can come true, you gotta make 'em happen, it all depends on you." What world will we be in if half the population, scratch that, ALL of the population, nakakita women as dames to be rescued?

Well, gone are the damsel in distress classic princesses. Here is a new age, where the Disney god has granted us a warrior princess, a working princess, and the idea that true pag-ibig can actually be found between sisters, not mga manliligaw (gasp! Who'd have thunk?)

Disney still has a long way to go, though. Girls may realize that they create their own path, but they also need to realize that there is no one beauty standard.

Girls don't need waists smaller then their heads to be beautiful, or eyes that take up half their face, or long, flowing hair. And nearly every princess has these attributes.

How about a chunky princess, with womanly curves that don't come from not having a ribcage? How about a princess with a pixie cut? And especially (though this will be in the far, far, future) a gay princess?

As you can see, Disney is slowly regaining my respect. But they still have a long way to go.

We 've learned a lot of lessons about live from Disney Princesses. We've learned the importance of support, the romance and the patience,
For Example, Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora,
They believe in their princes and are patient. Snow White is definately just like women of nakaraan eras with their romances. She's shy and hides from the prince just like nakaraan eras girls as talking to men was probably considered innapropriate in nakaraan eras and that was probably what most women in her era did. They had no other choice that being patient and believe in their pag-ibig interest. And furthemore, dream...

Now that I've seen Frozen, here's my listahan as it currently stands. Certain princesses have grown on me, others have fallen. This listahan isn't really concrete though.

13. Merida
The only princess I truly dislike. To me, she's the equivalent of Princess Fiona from Shrek, just a Disney Princess parody. A cookie cutter cliche. There's susunod to nothing unique about her, and the few unique traits that she does have are awful ones, bad etiquette. Yeah, so for me, Merida is the redheaded stepchild of the DP line-up. Sorry.

12. Aurora
A regal and ethereal goddess with the voice of an angel. The epitome...

Yesterday, wrote an artikulo about my grievances with Merida and Brave, it's been deleted. I realized kind of being unreasonable and unfair to both Merida and her movies. Paying only attention to the negative, ignoring the positive and blowing the negative out of proportion. I don't wanna be a negative Nancy and biased hater. Because then I'd be the type of tagahanga I despise. Especially Ariel haters. So let me start over, with what I like about Merida and Brave.

What I like
-Her relationship with her mother is very well down, and very realistic. And to me, the only bright spot about the movie and...

There are lots of synonyms for selfishness. Try any dictionary online, or a hard copy (remember those?), and you can see that these words share exactly the same meaning, if only stated in slightly different ways:
egoistic (also egoistical), egomaniacal, egotistic (or egotistical), narcissistic, self-absorbed, self-centered,self-concerned, self-infatuated, self-interested, self-involved, egocentric, self-loving, self-obsessed, self-oriented, self-preoccupied, self-regarding, self-seeking, self-serving, solipsistic ( credit provided to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary online link). The small unsavory...

I'm not at all confident in this list, but either way I pag-ibig talking about the princesses and thought this artikulo was long overdue (Well I've only been here..what? Two weeks? Eh, it still feels long overdue to me). ^^ Beforehand I'd like to say that I pag-ibig all the princesses, even my least favorite. As a group the princesses mean so much to me and as individuals I pag-ibig them all to pieces, so don't feel bad if your paborito is low! The listahan is also divided into three sections because within those sections I'm really not sure how the princesses rate, but I know they're somewhere around that...

Since I did an artikulo about my paborito Princesses I thought what the heck! why not do an artikulo about the Prince's after what is a Princess without her except Merida and Elsa of course :)

11- Prince
While this prince is sweet and kind like his princess having only one puso and one both for her sadly we don't get to see much of him and therefore it's somewhat hard
to depict much of his personality.

10- Prince Charming
Like the Prince I'm afraid for me falls into the same bangka unless even with the sequels I find it hard to depict his personality except that he is very determined and daring...

Hello all, this artikulo is pretty much what the pamagat says. I have had some boring time lately and I just started listing some of my thoughts on paper, and then I got the evil idea to write artikulo about it. So this is all about my opinions and thoughts and you all freely may or may not agree with them. I actually have very little theories here, and most of them are completely lunatic, but let's hope you get at least some amuse from them. I have listed my opinions very bluntly without any greater explanations because I wanted this to be short and clear(and I don't like to write a lot).
I have...
