So, I decided I don't contribute nearly enough, probably because I lose at everything. But despite the awfulness that is me, I still want to write madami articles. So, here are my opinions about Snow White. It'll be long, rambling, and I doubt any of you will read it all the way through, but here it is anyway. In the slim chance that anyone is interested.

MacytheStrange's Opinions On Snow White

To some people, Sinderella has always represented someone making the best out of a bad situation. For me, it's Snow White. She's only fourteen and she's made to dress in clothes that are falling apart (and she still looks stylish, but that's another matter). She's made to do work like a scullery maid, when for the past fourteen years she was royalty. Snow White could be mapait and angry about this, but she isn't. While doing her chores, Snow seems to transport herself to a fantasyland of wishing wells, similar to Belle living in the adventures of her books and Aurora living her dreams in, well, her dreams.

Snow White is optimistic, saying that all you have to do is make a wish on a wishing well. This may not be a realistic attitude to take to things, but the girl is barely a teenager, and she's an orphan. There doesn't really seem to be any town or village around that she could viably run away to, and even if she did run away, she'd be running from the queen, who could easily track her. So, instead she just makes the best out of a bad situation.

And, unlike some of the Disney Princesses such as Aurora, who immediately dance with the randomly appearing man, when the Prince randomly trespasses into the kastilyo Snow White doesn't immediately just start ballroom dancing with him. She, out of some mixture of shyness at being caught in ratty clothes and GODDAMNED COMMON SENSE, runs back inside while he does his spiel about 'one love'. And then, once she decides that she likes the guy, she goes out onto the balcony to be serenaded. And sends him a halik via dove. But at least she doesn't start dancing with him segundos after meeting him. That is a relief.

Another thing I pag-ibig about Snow White is her kindness towards others. This is first showcased in the scene right before the Huntsman attempts to assassinate her, when she hears the Nawawala baby bird crying for help. This is also the first sign of her motherly nature, when she runs to it, cradles it her her arms and immediately asks where its parents are. Obviously, it can't tell her in words, and Snow keeps the animal company, telling it to perk up at being separated from it's parents, much as Snow White herself has had to 'perk up' after losing both of her parents. Then she discovers the location of the bird's parents and points them out to the baby bird, bidding it farewell as it flutters away. This scene is one of my favorites in the movie, as it showcases her motherly, sympathetic yet firm (she is quite firm to the bird about it being optimistic about it's situation), generous personality.

One thing I don't like about Snow White's critics is their opinion that she was weak for being so scared sa pamamagitan ng the harmless forest. This is not weakness, this is being human. Snow White is fourteen. She just found that a powerful reyna wanted her dead, and she had just had a kutsilyo pointed at her sa pamamagitan ng a scary-looking guy. She had just run away from everything she knew, which would be difficult no matter how bad your life was, and into a dark, probably dangerous forest to which one could assume she'd never ventured. Add to that the fact that it was dark, and the EFFING TWO STORY DROP INTO SWAMP WATER, and anyone would be a bit madami than upset after that ordeal. Hey, I'm her age and I'd be just traumatized.

And then, after that experience which most adults probably wouldn't be able to handle, Snow White still does not complain or dwell on her own bad life. Instead, she apologizes to the woodland mga hayop for frightening them, which just shows how much she cares for others. She then asks her new woodland mga kaibigan for payo on how to cheer up, and after pag-awit 'A Smile and A Song', she is filled with optimism and says that she knows she'll 'get along somehow'. I think this is super admirable, something terrible happened to her, she had her cry, and then she sang herself back into happiness and gets back to the matter at hand, looking for shelter.

Snow White then shows some of her infamous yet often disputed manipulative side, getting her newfound woodland mga kaibigan to help her survive. And yes, another thing Snow's critics never really seem to remember is that she literally had to survive in the woods after she was nearly killed. Not many people could survive in the woods, especially after a scary experience, but Snow overcame it and put her skills to use finding a shelter.

Then Snow White finds her shelter, and once again we see her insecurity and desire for people to like her as she fluffs her hair to make herself look presentable before she knocks on the door of the dwarves' cottage. And then, when there is no one home, she meekly steps inside (trespassing: one thing her and her prince have in common!). Then, as all the mga hayop and her are cautiously looking around the house, Snow frightens them sa pamamagitan ng exclaiming "Oh!" and when they run away, she adds "What a cute little chair!" and giggles. I pag-ibig this bit, it kinda seems to me like she was trying to trick them for fun.

We then see her maternal side again when she immediately assumes that the seven people who live in the cottage must be children, and is upset at the thought that they might have no mother. I think this is because she herself has no mother, and knows how bad it is not to have one. Then, being the generous princess she is, she decides to clean their house to surprise them. However, this isn't to the sole means of being kind, she also hopes that with this kindness she could get them to let her stay. This, to me, shows that she can be a bit manipulative and not 'just sweet' as some like to say.

Snow then cleans the house with the help of the woodland creatures, whistling as she works. Snow often gets criticized for taking the simple task of sweeping and having the mga hayop do the rest, but Snow White is the only human there, and I don't think birds and deer can sweep. Snow White also seems to be something of a delegator, which is a fancy way of saying that she's kind of bossy. But in a good way. And, as the mga hayop work, she always scolds them when they cut corners such as licking plates clean and sweeping dust under rugs. This shows one thing: Snow White don't take your crap. And, the mga hayop listen to her immediately. Snow White would DEFINITELY be good at running a business.

Later, after she is awoken sa pamamagitan ng the suspicious dwarves, Snow White is friendly and cordial, saying 'how do you do', but when the dwarves do not respond she chides them for not answering. And then she says to the distrustful and, well, grumpy Grumpy, in a slightly teasing tone "you must be Grumpy!" while crossing her arms in imitation of him. I also pag-ibig this side of Snow White, this teasing, silly side. And then, when she senses that she might be kicked back out of this potentially nice home, she bribes the dwarves with pies. Some people criticize her for doing nothing but cooking and cleaning, but she's in a bad situation and those are the skills she has to work with. If you have skills, you should make use of them. And, later, when the dwarves tell her that they'd washed 'recently', Snow either tells that they are lying, or is just smart enough to check. Either way, she once again bribes them to wash with the promise of food.

And, after dinner, she laughs and dances with the dwarves as well as sings and tells the story of her and her prince, a scene I pag-ibig because it shows Snow White's dreamy and romantic nature. And later she shows her maternal side, telling the dwarves that it is their bedtime. When they offer her their beds she is hesitant, but she takes their offer after they insist. Another sweet scene is when she is praying before she goes to sleep, and blesses the seven dwarves who took her in. She pays special attention to the one dwarf who doesn't seem to like her, saying "Oh, and please let Grumpy like me." This is the best example in the film of how much she wants people to like her.

And, he does seem to like her, as he warns her about strangers like all the other dwarves when they go off to work. Snow White seems pleased that he cared, as she always likes people who like her. Later, when she deliberately disregards the payo the dwarves gave her, she was certainly making a mistake. But, it is only one mistake, and basically every Disney Princess has one mistake. To be honest, I think people judge Snow White either too harshly or too lightly as far as Snow White eating the mansanas is concerned.

And, after the prince awakes her and before he (ironically, this is what Snow wished for when she bit the apple) takes her away to his castle, Snow White hasn't forgotten the dwarfs, and she gives each one a halik on the head and a farewell before she goes off to her happy ending. A happy ending that she deserves.

So, yeah. That was basically my long, rambling opinion on Snow White. I really pag-ibig her, she's fourth on my list, and I hope I did her justice in this. I pag-ibig Snow White's multi-faceted personality, her determination, her manipulative and bossy side, her generous and sweet side, all of it! So, yeah. I hope you enjoyed the article.

The countdown is over and the results are in! DP club fans have voted for their paborito landscapes in DP movies. Surprisingly fans were madami divided for choosing the lower ranks and had almost a united say about the tuktok ones. Here are the results. Hope you'll enjoy.

11. Princess and The Frog
I was a little surprised to see it leave first. I know its not much liked around here but I thought having Sinderella and Snow White and Seven Dwarfs around, this might just skip being eliminated first. Well, I was wrong. fans didn't really find the bayou magical and swamps looked garish and dull to them....

Hi guys, since nobody had done this, what you guys are going to read are possible future hairstyles for a princess. Ready?

Rose Bukater's 2 Hairstyles

Only 2 hairstyles made it as a possible hairstyle for a princess, especially if it's a princess from the Victorian or Edwardian Era set in Europe! I just pag-ibig these 2 hairstyles as it looks very classy.

Scarlett O Hara's 2 Hairstyles

Another possible choice for the a princess, initially I had great difficulties over which one is the best. But ultimately, both are the best like Rose!

Liesl Von Trapp's Hairstyle

Honestly, this is the only hairstyle that I really like, it looks simple and yet elegant.

The Choice is Up to You!

So, do you agree with the choice that I made?

Hi everyone!

So I thought that since you often hear a lot of negative things about the Disney Princesses from people on Fanpop that it'd be cool to hear some positive opinions that other Fanpoppers hold.

Maybe it could change a view of yours. Who knows?

Why We pag-ibig Snow White:

MaidofOrleans:
I pag-ibig Snow White for her unending optimism. I would argue that she is the most optimistic of the DPs, and I pag-ibig her message that "you're the one who can fill the world with sunshine." It's very true and is applicable to every situation in life. I also pag-ibig how she bosses around the dwarfs. It's super...

 The 1950 version.
The 1950 version.
Hi guys, since I had make a poll version of it under my old username as dee389. Here is my general opinion on the stunning and beautiful wedding gown!

1950 Version

This was nothing special about this wedding gown, it looks like a typical wedding toga that we see on your or your relative's wedding day.

2007 Version

Since this version is a mid-quel, I thought that this is even better than the original 1950 version. It has madami details, especially the sleeve!

2015 Version

sa pamamagitan ng far, this is definitely the most spectacular wedding toga that I had ever seen! When I first saw in the cinema last year, I was blown away and I have to say that it's even better than the nakaraan two. It has madami details and the veil.

A Wedding Moment

So, if you're planning on getting married, which of these 3 wedding dresses do you pick?

5. Mulan's green, black, and brown armor

I was so sad that this was the first outfit to be eliminated. I think Mulan looks so badass in it! However, I can see why users didn't like it since it is an outfit that was made to be functional, not fashionable.

this is not supposed to flatter Mulan, but still a very boring dress if were to wear separately. ~anukriti2409

9. Mulan's Official Wedding Dress (with Prince Jeeki):
In initial round, it was tied with Jasmine's and her wedding dress with Shang. It was surprising to note that while it was a tie, there were hardly any comments for Jasmine's dress.
Finally the tiebreaker results determined the first elimination with Mulan's official wedding dress. Most fans were put off with its unusually big headgear.

SarahCorine: It's definitely cute. I like the colors. But she looks cuter in her other wedding dress. And the hat does...

Okay so I really want to do this, but I really am not going to explain why. Because, well, I believe there is madami to liking a princess than just looks. But other than that, I just feel like I'm just going to keep saying "oh she's so pretty" or "I just never found her attractive" over and over again in different words. So, I'm sorry for not leaving a description.

I probably should've put this artikulo on the Fanpop tagahanga club, but this club has been my tahanan for years. It's where I've made a lot of memories, have been part of a community that talks about madami than just Disney Princesses, has felt like a family, and has helped me A LOT through the years. So this artikulo being published anywhere else on Fanpop won't do any justice if it's not on this club. So without further delay, here is what being on Fanpop has meant to me.

First of all, it's only fair to say that I did NOT get off to a good start when I first came here. It's embarrassing to talk about...

Hi everyone, I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with a short artikulo that's purely for fun. A while back I posted a poll where I associated some of the mushrooms in the game Plants vs. Zombies with the DPs, and now I wanted to expand on that while also providing some brief reasoning for my choices. Note that I'll be generalizing these characters quite a bit here, mostly looking at just one quality. This is all in good fun though, so let's begin! I'm actually going to start off with an unofficial princess:

Hi everyone, for those of you who don't know, both pelikula share a common theme with each other that I notice! Aside from being the most highest grossing pelikula ever, here's my review base on my observations.

Titanic

In case you guys might be watching the movie, during the scene where Jack and Fabrizio are playing poker just moments before the ship takes off. The 2 characters to whom they challenge are 2 Swedes name Olaf and Sven, when I watch this scene for the first time in many years. I keep thinking that the 2 Swedes are going to transform into a snowman and reindeer respectively!

Which is your favourite?
Since Korean entertainment has dominated the whole of Asia, here are the Disney Princesses' favourite Korean dramas and why they pag-ibig it!

Iris (Mulan & Shang)

This Korean drama is about spying and espionage, this drama reminds me of both Mulan and Shang because it teaches them about spying.

My Princess (Rapunzel & Flynn)

Although the story is very similar to the Princess Diaries, Rapunzel did not find out that she is a princess until later of the story.

Winter Sonata (Elsa, Kristoff & Anna)

As the pamagat mentions, this drama is very old but it bumagay the trios. Both stories are set...

Today I'll be thinking of who'd come out champion in a fight of the Disney Princesses, first I'll be thinking of their advantages and disadvantages. Also I'm ignoring the obvious, their kingdoms.

Snow White:
A: Has All The Forest mga hayop and the Seven Dwarves in her will, won't be fighting, she'd just be saying the commands for them, she does have her ways of getting people to do what she wants. She's very organized too
D: She is easily sabatoged and gullible. And forest mga hayop aren't the strongest of animals. Besides she has no magic sa pamamagitan ng her side
