Coolsinger198 and I both had the same idea ironically to write a fairy artikulo to the relations of the mga engkanto to the princesses. But sadly her artikulo had trouble posting, so I want to give her some credit for this since she had the same idea as me.
I watched Tinker Bell: The Pirate Fairy not too long nakaraan and I absolutely loved it, especially Baby Tic Toc. Then I started noticing some similarities between the mga engkanto and the princesses in further notice through the film. Quite frankly some even looked like the princesses. Although I caught the indifference through Disney heroines and sidekicks instead. So here we go, thank you for taking the time to look. Not to toot my own horn but toot toot, I think this is pretty interesting and cool. Hehe.

Tinker kampanilya reminds me of Ariel
They both have quite the temper now do they? Tinker kampanilya sure has a fiery spirit and it's pretty easy for her to get upset, like in The Nawawala Treasure enough pressure falls on her chest she blames he best friend for something he didn't do. She often turns red while her sassy attitude comes into way. Ariel has spark of attitude herself, when confronted sa pamamagitan ng her dad she rolls her eyes and snaps back. They also are very curious and get into lots of trouble, Ariel goes up to the surface or into human invested places because she's so curious to a place not her own. Tinker kampanilya travels to a winter wonderland even though she knows she might hurt herself. Tinker kampanilya and Ariel both collect human things, like Nawawala things or diggle hoppers to snarf blats. They go travel secretively to places they shouldn't be, like the winter forest and a human tahanan or castle. Otherwise both want to change into something they aren't. Ariel wants to be human to be with Eric and Tinker kampanilya wants to have a new talent to go to the Mainland.
Vidia reminds me of Megara
They both have a really sassy and sarcastic attitude, also both look alike a lot. Out of all the pairings I've made they are the most similar sa pamamagitan ng far. Both tend to role their eyes often, Vidia roles her eyes at anything that she thinks is lame, in this case-everything and Meg roles her eyes at the blue thingy and 'Wonder Boy.' Yet both have sensitive side, Megara pag-awit I wing say I'm love, practically killing herself to save Hercules from getting crushed and becoming a slave to Hades so she could save the life of the biggest jerk in the world, her ex-boyfriend. Who ran off for 'some babe' after Meg traded her soul for him. Do*che. Vidia pushes Tink out of the way from getting put into a jar and taken away, and instead takes her own place as the prisoner. Other than that she grows friendship sa pamamagitan ng getting all her mga kaibigan to save Tink who she has been enemies with since movie one. They both go through sassy sarcastic to pag-ibig and affection changes.
Silvermist reminds me of Anna
Coolsinger198 and I were discussing which Disney Princess Silvermist could relate to, she sinabi Anna, at first I didn't see it but after looking back at both actions I could see the relations. I couldn't seem to find a Princess as happy and crazy as Sil, then I thought about chocolate, then Anna, then it brought me here. So anyways back to the relation, Silvermist in The Pirate Fairy screams idiotically (but it was cute and funny) "SOMEBODY SWITCHED OUR HEADS!" Which was after Zarina used her pixie dust alchemy to switch their talents. The only Disney character who I could see doing that was of corse, Anna. Both have that buzzing sense of curiosity and outgoingness. Anna is very excited to meet new people when her gates are finally opened for the first time in forever (no pun intended). Silvermist is always seeking out to cheer people up, like helping Tink after the tistle accident, or helping Terrence in The Nawawala Treasure. Anna is trying to help her sister who hasn't loved her for thirteen years. They're both clumsy and silly, but also very caring.
Fawn reminds me of Pocahontas
Both are animal mga manliligaw of corse. Pocahontas to Meeko and flit and usa to every single animal. They both aren't exactly what you call 'girly' considering usa (and Vidia) don't wear skirts, and Pocahontas doesn't mind getting her hands dirty. Both don't mind actually. Pocahontas and usa seem to get indecisive at times, Pocahontas has no idea what to do with her life, and usa only at one point doesn't know if she should help Tinker kampanilya switch her talent which is it for her really, but still. They can be polar opposites at the same time, while both like to spend all araw running and playing tricks, taking risks, Pocahontas is insecure about herself and her life whereas usa acts care free with out needing any guidance.
Rosetta reminds me of charlotte la Bouff
My my, so many similarities where to start? They're crazy and all pink. I'm assuming they both have a hate for dirt, Rosetta in The Pixie Hollow Games gets trampled on dirt from a rock dropped sa pamamagitan ng Chloe. Rosetta quickly yelps "DIRT! GET IT OF! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!" As well as in The great fairy rescue she climbs into mud with out a choice complaining 'Ew it's squishy there are bubbles in it.' We can safely assume Lottie hates mud as well. Oh and also they have a distinct hate for frogs, well for Lottie near the beginning of the movie. Rosetta refuses to ride a frog because it's slimy and at the costume party thrown for charlotte and 'Naveen' where the froggy business takes place, she's screams her face off as Tiana and the real Naveen climb into her dress.
Both are also boy happy, Rosetta fell head over heals for Sled, a charming frost fairy in Secret of the Wings while charlotte wanted a prince so bad she became the 'Princess' of Naveen's adorable six-year-old brother. And they both have southern Belle accents (last minuto edit from KataraLover).
Iridessa reminds me of Tiana
This doesn't really have anything to do with the fact they are black, actually. Well of corse it doesn't! Sheesh. Tiana has that nothing's in my way attitude, she doesn't have time for distractions, she just has one goal in mind. Iridessa is trying to block out distractions as well, she plays things safe. When Tinker kampanilya asks Iridessa to help switch her talent, Iridessa hesitates, knowing it would be a bad idea, she does it anyway for the benefit of her friend. When Naveen becomes a frog and asks Tiana to halik him, she hesitates as well, but she knows he's, or thinks he's a 'fabulously wealthy prince' when it's really his family, she knows from halik a frog she'll achieve her goal.
Periwinkle reminds me of Rapunzel
Periwinkle and Tinker kampanilya were born of the same laugh which means they're sisters, but hadn't known they were Nawawala until Tinker kampanilya crossed the border. Like Rapunzel not knowing about her family until she found the lanterns. Periwinkle and Rapunzel are wanting to go see a whole new world (no pun intended again). Peri wanted to tumawid the border to the main part of Pixie Hollow and Rapunzel wanted to step out of her tower. As well as needing something to help them make it safely back and forth, Peri needing the ice maker and Rapunzel needing Flynn/Eugene as her guide. Though both are forbidden, because as they were told it was a dangerous world out there. Peri and Rapunzel are quite secretive about things. I can really see how they relate through missing family without knowing and escaping to a new forbidden world secretively.
Zarina reminds me of Belle
Zarina is a misunderstood Dust Keeper, she's working on changing Pixie dust for Pixie Hollow but she's told it's too dangerous. Ironically for a dust keeper she's always running out of dust to fly. Which means...outcast. Belle is the same way, a beauty but a funny girl. Everyone in town thinks Belle is crazy, just like Zarina is. Then both women flee their tahanan to find a beast only James isn't a beast, but he's mean, although the beast is nice. Do you know what I mean, their personalities to appearances are opposites. Although they flee for totally different reasons, but you get the point. While there are musical numbers that start both of their movies, townspeople sing about how Belle is strange, and mga engkanto leave commentary on how Zarina is strange for walking.
