Hello! If you don't know already, I am snsdlover4ever, and I'd like to stay madami active on this club, so I'm here today to write my first Opinion/Rant on this club. Without further ado, let's skip all these boring introductions and begin with my Opinion/Rant! Enjoy!
As you see, the topic is about a certain DP that is constantly labeled as "cowardly." You all can probably guess who that is...
To be fair, Elsa is a princess that I consider myself to be neurtal about, and I think that it'll always stay that way. It doesn't mean that I hate her, unlike some people in this club, but it doesn't mean that I'm over the moon about her. Just neutral.
But, something has really bothered me after nagyelo was released, which has almost been a taon believe it or not. It's the fact that everyone calls her cowardly because she ran away from everyone in her kingdom and from her problems.
Surprisingly, I don't necessarily see it in that way. In fact, I personally don't see how people find Elsa to "always run from her problems, and to always hide her emotions." If anything, she had good reason to, and before you start attacking me, please let me explain.
Elsa was always taught to conceal her powers at a young age. She thought that sa pamamagitan ng concealing her powers, she was protecting her kingdom. So, when they were exposed, she ran away from the kingdom out of fear, because everyone saw her as a monster, and because she thought that she herself was a threat to the kingdom. Might not have been the best way in my opinion, but everyone makes rash decisions when they're nervous.
She ran away from the kingdom and refused to come back because she knew that they would be safer without her and her uncontrollable powers at the time. She didn't want to hurt anybody like she did to her sister, and even then, it wasn't intentional. That proves that she doesn't hide her emotions when it comes to her sister, because she loves and cares for her.
Another sign of her not hiding her emotions towards her sister is when she's imprisoned sa pamamagitan ng Hans. She was already comfortable at the jail cell. She was alone, away where she couldn't hurt anybody. But, even after that, she worried about her sister so much that she broke out of that jail cell to make sure that she was okay, so that when Elsa would leave for good this time, Anna would be ligtas and she would become queen.
All in all, Elsa isn't this cowardly woman everyone thinks she is. In my defense, I think that she is afraid of what she's capable of, but it's all in good reason: because she doesn't know what she's capable of. Hence why she made an unintentional winter in Arendelle, and didn't even know about it. Since she doesn't know what she's capable of, she doesn't want to take that chance with people, and tries to prevent another problem sa pamamagitan ng straying from it. I hope people could see her as I do.
