I loved my childhood, it was fun and crazy and there were no responsibilities but to study and to play. Sometimes i wish i could de-grow sometimes, if there's a word like that in any dictionary and be a child again. I pag-ibig being an adult too - freedom to make my own decisions, doing things the way i wanted and of course spending my own hard-earned money (haha). But i loved my childhood even more, the best part was not having any complex emotions to resolve.

I was just going over my photographs with my brother and we laughed and laughed till our ribs cracked coz we were looking absolutely ridiculous! (in a funny, good way, of course). So i thought, about making this artikulo on DP's childhood and how do I find theirs. Its not a thoroughly detailed one but entails my pangkalahatang views.

8. Cinderella:
After being raised so kindly sa pamamagitan ng her father, her childhood turned from a beautiful dream to a nightmare when her father died. She is subjected to abuse and torture and treated as an underprivileged in her own house. A child who is raised with much kindness and love, she was isolated and was treated in most unkind and uncaring ways. She had no friends, except for her few animal friends. I would not want this kind of childhood at all.

7.Snow White:
She was also treated badly and made into a scullery maid because her stepmother was jealous of her beauty. Though, its not shown, but i think Snow White was never aware of why she was asked to work like a maid and thinking of her personality it wouldn't have much bothered her to work all araw in rag clothes. So her childhood at least would be less torturing than Cinderella's only a bit that she never got to experience kindness from her family and hence never expected otherwise from her and seemed a bit oblivious to it. But she didn't have parents or mga kaibigan either so she put her energy into work.

6. Elsa:
Everything looked grand with awesome ice powers to play with and her little sister who always conjured some fun activity, but the moment the powers got out of control, everything went downhill. She couldn't forgive herself for hurting her little sister and became isolated to the point that she developed acute anxiety and untrusting and insecure personality. She forgot how to have fun with her only companion, Anna. Its a terrible way to spend your childhood, stuck inside a room, always fearing whom you'll hurt next. But till quite late, she had the comfort of her tahanan and her parents at least.

5. Rapunzel:
Been abducted way too early for Rapunzel to remember having another life or even another parents was not possible, so she couldn't really feel anything about until she learned about it. Having magic hair is cool, but no one to share it with is so depressing. Living all alone up in the tower, isolated from the outside world is not such a happy situation for a growing child. Though Mother Gothel would time to time ipakita some kind of care, sa pamamagitan ng bringing painting colors, making hazelnut sopas and even if ignorance brought peace, the loneliness would be too much to make it an entirely happy childhood. But she had security and comfort of tahanan and to do whatever she wanted to in her space, however limited.

4. Aurora:
Since she was cursed when she was only born, she wouldn't have any memories of it. The 3 good mga engkanto made sure she was well-protected, cared for and looked after in best possible way. Living a peaceful life with her aunts isn't that bad at all than to know and suffer like Elsa of being cursed. I think ignorance had proven much good for her childhood. And plus, she didn't have that confining area as Rapunzel. She could freely roam the forest at least. The only restriction was to not talk to strangers, which can be difficult but not that bad as others above. She had no human mga kaibigan but she had a loving family base, at least few people to talk to.

TIED 3. Anna:
Just like Elsa, her opening was grand! If it were to continue just as is, playing with a sister who has awesome ice powers and doing non-stop fun, it would be my no. 1. But unfortunately, their incident ruined everything including their relationship and bond with each other. There's a very interesting aspect of Anna's childhood. If Grand Pabbie were to not remove the memories from Anna's mind of this incident (and would have suggested a better solution to save her life, being a magical elf themselves - honestly it was the worst fairy act ever in history of DP- anyways), she would have been a little cautious with her sister, she would have understood her better and wouldn't have wondered the whole time why her sister just abandoned her one morning. She'd have easily forgiven Elsa for accidentally hurting her and would have helped Elsa restore her faith in her powers. That's a terrible terrible way of waking up one araw especially a araw before you were so close to someone.
So here's the interesting part: if however, Grand Pabbie wouldn't have removed those dreadful memories, would she have been so cheerful, so upbeat, so optimistic in life. She also could have turned a cautious note towards her sister, not shut her down, but you know, a little wary of playing with her powers. But still i think it would have been much better than separating both of them coz of one incident.
Their parents sucked big time in guiding them, the worst payo ever, in my opinion. Weren't they bothered that their daughters didn't even see each other.
Anyways, so currently shown childhood of Anna was bad but she made it up in her own ways like Rapunzel did to fill up the puwang somehow. Plus she wasn't restricted in any way actually, so that's a plus for her. And she too had her parents with whom she seemed very close ( a small clip in the movie when she hugs them before they leave for their trip)

TIED 3. Ariel:
Since her childhood is shown in the prequel, which is actually the 3rd movie of this story, I'm taking that as grounds rather than imaging it up myself. She had an amazingly upbeat childhood until she Nawawala her mother. It was terrible of course, losing your mother so early and then seeing your dad go into a depressed and angry state. With much of music and laughter and warmth gone from family, it could get gloomy. Their schedules were very restrictive but not limited, i'd say. The only thing that was banned was going to the surface and music. It could be tolerated at some levels while at sometimes only a small restriction can suffocate you. especially your own parents, who was once loving and caring and full of fun, gone so cold suddenly. It keeps pinching you at the back of the mind. I think coming across dapa and finally discovering music was the cutest and best memory of her childhood. She did have some moments with her sisters and they weren't so gloomy. So she had company but yes, a restrictive lifestyle. She tried to fill it up with fun but was always being lectured as grown-up, which was sad. So i find hers and Anna's at same level. They both had few things to cherish but a lot was missing.

2. Merida:
Filled with love, laughter, fun and interesting things, Merida as a child was a happy and wild one. Her parents loved her and provided for her in most grand ways. She was cared for, was provided comfort of tahanan and had balanced parents who guided her, taught her and indulged her, all the same. Although she didn't enjoy taking boring classes and being a prim and proper princess, but that's normal. Its just like attending school with no interest in some subjects. She was ibingiay her days of freedom where she could roam the wild and indulge in her paborito activities. She wasn't much restricted except to be schooled which is obviously a good thing for her only. While people may not agree, but her mother's constant disappointment in her growing years can become tiring over the time. And that's my only concern with her childhood.

1. Tiana:
Hers was a truly happy childhood. Doting parents who adored her and loved her. They spend time together, she got to become mga kaibigan with charlotte with whom she played and together they listened to stories with Tiana's mother. Her father died prematurely but she was loved and cared for, sa pamamagitan ng her mother. She was bright and happy child, with warm memories to look back to. A dream to hope on and a future to look pasulong to. Though it seemed her parents came from madami humble background (money and social status) but it never hampered their family and Tiana''s childhood. They loved her and provided for her in the best way possible.

I was wondering it would have been nice if remaining princesses also got some childhood scenes. Maybe I'll write another artikulo imagining their childhood. What do you think of this? Would pag-ibig to hear from you all, as always.
