 Type Three, "The Achiever"
Type Three, "The Achiever"
Introduction: Understanding the Enneagram

So, the Enneagram is a pretty complicated system of classifying personalities. Basically, everyone has a core type, expressed as a number of One through Nine. This is the most straightforward paglalarawan of someone’s personality.

Here’s a basic rundown of each type:
1: perfectionistic, rational, idealistic
2: generous, warm-hearted, nurturing
3: ambitious, image-conscious, charming
4: sensitive, dreamy, moody
5: cerebral, perceptive, analytical
6: trustworthy, loyal, bravo
7: fun-loving, enthusiastic, lively
8: assertive, strong, self-confident
9: peace-making, nonjudgmental, serene

From there, it gets a bit madami complex. Most people also display traits of the numbers immediately adjacent to theirs (I'll refer to these as "wings"). Let’s say you’re an easygoing Nine, for example. If you’re assertive when push comes to shove, then you probably have a wing of Eight, written as 9w8. But if you’re madami perfectionistic, you’re probably a 9w1 instead. The only possible wings for any ibingiay type are the numbers on either side of it.

Then there’s the Tritype Theory, that everyone is actually three different Enneatypes to varying degrees. It’s all very confusing at first, but the numbers are broken into groups:
puso Types (2, 3, 4): deal with how you experience emotions
Head Types (5, 6, 7): deal with how you experience fear
Gut Types (8, 9, 1): deal with how you experience anger

To get your Tritype, you figure out which number you are from each category and rank them according to how much they fit you. For example, I’m a 4-7-9, the moody, fun-loving, yet easygoing type nicknamed the “Gentle Spirit”. Each type in your Tritype also has a wing, which can be difficult for many people to figure out. (I’m specifically a 4w3-7w6-9w8.)
There is yet another classification beyond that, which focuses on whether a person is socially oriented ("so" or social), self-oriented ("sp" or self-preservation), or one-on-one oriented ("sx" or sexual).

Now, onto the scheduled program!

Cinderella

Enneagram Type: 3w4, “The Professional”

When I first began pondering Cinderella’s personality, I was convinced that she had to be either a Two or a Four. She’s sweet and helpful like a Two, combined with the dreaminess and occasional moodiness of a Four. But which one could it be?

It was then that I began to really scrutinize her actions to get a better grasp of her personality. A slightly different picture emerged… Sinderella is sweet and dreamy, yes, but she’s also a hard worker with an ambitious streak who seems to inspire everyone around her, just through the force of her natural charm. Even more, she has a latent critical streak that comes out in private, when she has plenty of sarcastic things to say about her stepfamily. It occurred to me: Sinderella is a total Three.

The Enneagram Institute has this to say of Twos: “Threes are self-assured, attractive, and charming. Ambitious, competent, and energetic, they can also be status-conscious and highly driven for advancement. They are diplomatic and poised, but can also be overly concerned with their image and what others think of them. They typically have problems with workaholism and competitiveness. At Their Best: self-accepting, authentic, everything they seem to be—role mga model who inspire others.”

Her “wing” is that of a Four, which reflects her dreaminess and aesthetic sensibilities. Nevertheless, her “Four-ness” is filtered through the lens of Three, the Achiever, so it manifests as a strong desire to really shine and be appreciated for once. Thus, she is the 3w4, nicknamed “The Professional”. 3w4s are ambitious, self-conscious, and genuinely admirable.

This is demonstrated perfectly in Cinderella’s dream to go to the ball. She has suffered in silence for years at the hands of her stepfamily, contenting herself with hard work, but she also wants one night to get dressed up, have fun, and attend the royal ball where she would undoubtedly make a splash. 3w4s are known for ‘reaching for the stars’ with their dreams (and actually following through with them!), and Sinderella is no different.

Tritype: 3-9-6, “The Mediator”

Cinderella’s puso fix is the Three, as I just discussed. But what about situations where she can’t rely upon her emotions? That’s where her two lesser types, Nine and Six, come into play. Three, as her primary type, is the most present, but her secondary and tertiary types also coexist in her personality.

Her first instinct is clearly to work hard and succeed, but Sinderella also maintains a sense of serenity about her and is loyal and responsible—attributes that are characteristic of the Nine and Six.

Nine serves as the gut fix, or how someone acts. Sinderella remains calm under most circumstances and has still preserved her inner peace, even after years of being forced to work as a servant. Six, meanwhile, as the head fix, is expressed in her dutiful side.

Together, they form the 396 archetype known as “The Mediator”:
“The 396 is ambitious, but coupled with the need to be aligned with expectations. A need for peace and harmony influences behavior. This type is highly adaptable and focused on being in comfortable alignment with others.”

Instinctual variant: sp

She would probably be an sp subtype, because her dreams are centered around herself. Not in a selfish way, necessarily, but in a self-conscious way: she understands her predicament, and knows that going to the ball will improve her mental well-being.

No.

But was the world "ready" for women to vote when they were allowed to vote with the nineteenth amendment? Was the world "ready" for school integration in Brown v. Board? Was the world "ready" to legalize gay marriage when it did? (Sorry I'm basing this all off of American examples, as I am American and I know a large portion of this site is) The answer to all of those tanong is, if you define ready as an overwhelming support, no. But that didn't stop them from happening, and in my opinion it shouldn't stop this either.

The world is never going to be "ready" for change. It's simply impossible...

Today I'll be thinking of who'd come out champion in a fight of the Disney Princesses, first I'll be thinking of their advantages and disadvantages. Also I'm ignoring the obvious, their kingdoms.

Snow White:
A: Has All The Forest mga hayop and the Seven Dwarves in her will, won't be fighting, she'd just be saying the commands for them, she does have her ways of getting people to do what she wants. She's very organized too
D: She is easily sabatoged and gullible. And forest mga hayop aren't the strongest of animals. Besides she has no magic sa pamamagitan ng her side

Cinderella:
A: It isn't easy to make her pissed...

I am bored and it's been a while since I've written a non-poll based article, so why not? Just so you know, I am not going to make their professions crap like "fast pagkain worker" or "housekeeper", because that would be kind of unfair. I will do things based on their talents.

This is entirely MY OPINION, so don't get upset if we differ, though I've never really had any problems with people on here.

Snow White: Zoologist

A zoologist is someone who studies mga hayop in their natural habitat, something that I believe would be the perfect job for Snow White. Snow is obviously an animal person so...

 Hans' Austrian cousin.
Hans' Austrian cousin.
Hi guys, I thought it would be interesting to compare Hans to another main antagonist from a live action movie The Illusionist, Crown Prince Leopold. As well as their motives and personality.

Crown Prince Leopold

Crown Prince Leopold was actually base on the real-life Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria-Hungary, the only son of Emperor Francis Joseph and Empress Elisabeth (Sissi) of Austria.
Sadly to say, Rudolf allegedly committed suicide along with his 17 years old mistress, Baroness Mary Vetsera at this Hunting Lodge at Mayerling. Known as the Mayerling Incident.
Crown Prince Leopold is actually...

I know it was a while nakaraan since I promised I would defend the Disney Princesses, but it's been hard trying to figure out how to set it up.

Snow White's voice is annoying

Remember, this is a reason why people don't like her. Snow White is always shunned and for shallow reasons like this. Her looks are also insulted as well as her dress.THESE ARE NO REASONS TO HATE A PRINCESSES!!! I'm sorry for hitting the all sombrero button, but it's extremely annoying when people judge a princess sa pamamagitan ng her looks and voice. It's like hating someone in real life because they're fat or they're ugly. I guess I have no...

9. Eric shows Ariel his kingdom

I feel like one of few who doesn't find the bangka ride scene to be romantic, it's madami of a silly scene and the song isn't even romantic...

Ksenia Sukhinova (Miss World 2008 from Russia)
Hi guys, I have been wanting to write this artikulo for a long time, since I'm also a beauty pageant tagahanga myself too. I thought that it would be interesting to write about which Disney Princess do they look like and why. If you guys have your opinion, you're most likely welcome to write it down! Here are some of my favourite Miss Universe/ Miss World winners and their striking resemblance to the Disney Princesses.

Ksenia Sukhinova (Miss World 2008, Russia)

This Russian beauty has combo of Sinderella and Princess Aurora, but most likely the latter because of their similar facial features and long...

Who doesn't pag-ibig travel?

Well, I mean, I'm sure there are people who, beyond my comprehension, don't enjoy exploring other parts of the big wide world. But I pag-ibig travel. And I'm sure the Princesses would too. So here are the places the Disney Princesses would enjoy vacationing to. *Disclaimer: I have never been to these cities, so if I sound stupid, have mercy! I got most of my information from the internet.*

Snow White: Glorenza (Glurns), Italy

Snow White would pag-ibig to visit this tiny town in northern Italy, near the border with Switzerland. Since it is so small, with a population of only...

It's just an Easter Egg.Nothing more,nothing less.
I know that after people have noticed that little Easter egg in nagyelo since it was released, many have developed the same theory. However,I do not agree with it and will give an explanation as to why. The theory with which I do not agree has to do with that brief moment in the film. Yes,by now, I think every major nagyelo tagahanga knows about and has seen the quick cameos of Rapunzel (with her short, brown hair) and Eugene (or Flynn,if Gusot fans still want to call him that) when Anna passes sa pamamagitan ng them during "For the First Time in Forever." From seeing these two Disney Princesses together in the same...

I got this idea when I learned that at one point, Disney actually was using some of the princesses in cause advertisements and it got me thinking: If each of the Disney Princesses wanted to select a cause/charity to contribute to, which would it be?

Snow White- Senior Citizens: Snow White ends up homeless after running away from the evil reyna and she was fortunate that the 7 dwarfs took her in. This is why I think she would want to help senior citizens the way she did for the dwarfs and the way that they helped her (although they were not senior, they were getting close).

Cinderella- Animal...

So I only wanted to include couples at the end of their original films so that is why there is no Pocahontas & Smith or Rolfe as well as no Anna & Hans.

10. Rapunzel & Eugene: I think this whole thing was such a big mistake. Eugene is a criminal on the run who just so happened to stumble upon Rapunzel's whereabouts who had been isolated. He was so selfish that he didn't even want to take her on this trip and was so cold that he actually took her to a bar full of criminals to scare her. In real life, this would have been immensely endangering for her. Luckily, she is so charming and...

Among the songs that were deleted from Frozen,"Life's Too Short" was one that had a version recorded with the voices of Idina Menzel and Kristin Bell. The song was written during the time when Elsa was going to be a villain, but was replaced with the reprise of "For the first time in Forever" once "Let It Go" was written.Although I enjoy listening to this song with Menzel's and Bell's voices, even when I watch that version,I can see why it wouldn't have tied in very well with the completed movie. The song starts off with Elsa and Anna appearing to make amends and form a new beginning with their...
