Okay I’m a week late but here is my artikulo about watching Sleeping Beauty for the first time in years!

Like the artikulo for Snow White and Seven Dwarfs I will write about;

1. How much I enjoyed/disliked the movie as a child

2. How much I have forgotten

3. Princess (will she be higher on my listahan or lower?)

4. Movie (will the movie be higher on my listahan or lower?)

5. Rating

6. How much has my opinion changed?

7. Would I watch it again?

Tonight's rewatch: Sleeping Beauty
Last time watched: February 14, 2009 (had a movie marathon that day)

So, how much did I liked or disliked this movie as a child?

Well, like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this was another movie I was too scared to watch as a child, mainly because of Maleficent. She was the only reason I wouldn't watch this movie alone. But other than that, I did like to watch this movie when I was little, mostly the parts in the forest when Briar Rose sang Once Upon a Dream. I've seen some people not take that scene too seriously because she's just dancing with woodland creatures pretending to be a prince. And I have to ask, what's wrong with that? She's having fun playing pretend with her woodland friends, I think that's adorable! I was guilty of dancing with my stuffed mga hayop like Aurora when I was a kid because I liked watching her do it. In fact, I actually used to think she really thought her animal mga kaibigan really were a prince because, to quote my husband when we watched this together, I was just using cartoon logic. There were some things that happened in the movie I never really understood as a kid, like the mga engkanto putting the kingdom to sleep or the part when Maleficent's goons were talking about searching a cradle, and I used to think the scene where Phillip was captured was supposed to happen before the scene where Aurora pricks her finger because I thought she was just setting a trap for Aurora and that the scenes were just mixed up (don't make fun, I was a toddler when I first watched this :P)

How much of this movie have I forgotten:

Okay, this is something I probably should have brought up in my artikulo about SWatSD but I can't believe I forgot about how Disney used to start their pelikula with credits while the movie's main song plays. The same with the book opening and narration. I hope Disney will do this again someday, even if it's only in one movie. I know in Enchanted they did a book opening but that was animated so I'm not counting it.

I've always loved the three good mga engkanto but I forgot how sweet and funny they were. Like the dwarfs, each fairy brought something to the mesa and they were equally entertaining. I laughed so hard when I saw Flora's dress for Aurora and Fauna's cake. I've seen the messed up cake a million times but I had completely forgotten that she hadn't even baked it yet before putting frosting and candles on it. I had also forgotten that Merryweather had the same voice actress as Lady from Lady and the Tramp while Flora had the Fairy Godmother's from Cinderella.

And I totally forgot that Aurora's animal mga kaibigan straight up robbed Prince Phillip. I can't tell if they just took his clothes to lead him to Aurora but all I know is, they just took his clothes and cheesed it.

As much as I think Aurora and Phillip are an adorable couple, like Snow White and her prince, I can't really pag-ibig them since they just fell for each other really quick.

While the scene where Maleficent put Aurora in a trance and had her prick her finger on the spinning wheel didn't scare me as much as it did when I was a kid the music still freaked me out a little bit.

Princess:

I thought Aurora was sweet and I liked watching her scenes and listening to her pag-awit but she doesn't leave much of an impact as the other princesses in the lineup. And while I did feel sad for her when she was told she could never see the "handsome stranger" again, I couldn't take it as seriously as when Ariel cried on the pier or when Sinderella cried after her mother's dress was ripped up. Aurora was 13 on my list, and while I didn't enjoy her character as much as I did Snow White, I'm going to bump her up to 11. I know that's not much but I still liked her! I just like the other princesses more.

Movie:

My husband and I had fun watching this together but I'm sad to say we weren't as into it as we are when we watch other Disney movies. This movie is 11 on my listahan and for now I'm going to leave it there. Like I sinabi about Aurora, I didn't hate this movie I just like the others more.

Ranking: 5/10

How much has my opinion changed?

My opinion hasn't changed much, I still loved watching Aurora's scenes and I still loved the fairies. This movie just doesn't leave much of an impact on me as much as other Disney movies.

Would I watch it again?

Maybe!

susunod week I'll be doing Pocahontas! :)

"Right here Lottie," Tiana pointed to the dress, right in Charlotte's point of view. "Anyway merry pasko Lottie! Our seventeenth pasko together, my how time passes.

If you pag-ibig Frozen, Elsa, and Let It Go, I advise you to turn back now. I'm gonna get ranty and I know how in pag-ibig people are with this movie so if you don't want to hear any criticism of it, you probably oughtn't read this. I'm also pretty sick of this song (THEY'RE PLAYING IT AT MY JOB EVERY araw NOW! I can't escape!), but I'll try not to let that make me too preachy.

I think this song is actually the opposite of admirable the madami I listen to it. It seems fun and glamorous when you only listen to the words on a shallow level, but when you dig deeper and read into the meaning, it starts looking...

10 Signs You’re a Disney Addict
Bonjour! Most people who post things on Fanpop about Disney everyday happen to be Disney Addicts, but if you’re not sure and you fit with the majority of these points, then... you’re a Disney Addict. Or just read it to have fun. Enjoy!

1. You’ve watched the majority of the Disney pelikula
And sa pamamagitan ng majority I mean around 92.8 percent. Or... something. This point is definitely a ibingiay but if you’ve only seen a few Disney movies, you don’t have to pick up your game, just pick up a Disney movie that you haven’t seen before. NOW.

2. You quote Disney in every-day...

Bonjour!

I know a lot of people have been posting these articles, and I hope I offend nobody sa pamamagitan ng producing my own, but it made me wonder what I would think based on these redesigns and therefore I decided to write an artikulo of my own and express my opinion.
This is a countdown, and I am only including the first ten (Snow-Rapunzel) princesses because they have been the only ones redesigned (as I believe) from their original merchandise design; not necessarily from the movie.

Shall we start?

10. Pocahontas.

No. Just no, no, no. They've ruined her!
Well, that's too harsh. Not everything....

Hello this is my first article. And I'm here to count down my tuktok dps so let's began.

13. Merida
I know i can't spell her name right.I should and
would get to watching the movie.

12. Aurora
I don't dislike her or anything it's just the fact that she is boring in my sense. Here's a fact she's only in 15 minutos in the movie. Her song is great and so is her look it's just she has nothing besides that.

11. hasmin
This is one of those dp who gets the lest screen time. A lot like Aurora and Elsa. She does seem to have a little tom boyish in her but it never appeal to me at all.

10. Tiana...

Bonjour! OK, I know some of you have been waiting for this one, so I'll do my best to make it alright.
Beforehand I spoke about the four before them - Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and Ariel. Even though I'm not very fond of Cinderella, Pagsulat about her and defending her made me appreciate her more. All of the princesses have wonderful qualities, it's just a shame that people seem to remember the bad ones instead. Or make up bad ones.

Belle -

Belle is my favourite. (I pag-ibig Elsa too though). She's intelligent, beautiful and completely flawless in my opinion. So I had a bit of a problem with...
