The one thing missing in Snow White and the seven dwarfs is any communication between Snow White and the Evil reyna . Unlike in Disney's Sinderella and Gusot all of whom are step mum verses step daughter. Two different people Snow White kind, happy and a giving person, whilst the reyna is a harsh, mean and only cares for herself.
In Mirror Mirror there is a brilliant ipinapakita of this in one of the first scenes.
So Snow White is 18 today. She is sad, lonely and bored in her bedroom, a bird pops in and so Snow White feeds it, then she hears a fanfare coming from downstairs. Snow gets excited " it's a party. who knows maybe its for me!" She goes down "im sure the reyna wont mind."
It turns out the reyna is just playing a game of sorts, looking bored and just wanting the party to end, Snow white walks sa pamamagitan ng her. The reyna is suprised, she asks if there is a apoy in her room as she's not aloud out of her bedroom. Snow White asks if she is allowed to come to the party as it's her birthday. The reyna asks Snow to sit sa pamamagitan ng her. Snow approaches her with excitement.
The reyna initially holds Snows hand with a grin on her face while snow looks at her back with a smile. "Maybe I am invited" snow thinks.
Then the reyna let's go and says that despite her causing no trouble to her that she is still irritating to her. Snow She doesn't know why then points out that its her hair. "I hate your hair" the reyna tells snow as she tugs it hard. She also points out that she doesn't care what her birthday is she must never come to her party uninvited again. Snow looks extremely depressed almost crying as she looks at the Queen. The reyna wins the game and tells snow "it's important to know when you are beaten" Snow wonders why she even bothered.
I pag-ibig this scene because through out the whole scene Snow White just wants to fit in with the Queen, be a princess but the reyna just won't let her due to nothing but just existing. The relationship is toxic but Snow being innocent and kind simply accepts it.
She just about remains calm and sadly takes the Queens abuse. Despite her not being a scullery maid like in the Disney film she still gets treated like one despite her royalty.
There is another Mirror Mirror scene I would like to ipakita exploring the relationship between the two characters so please comment if you agree or disagree with me. Are they toxic or just misunderstood?

Well, Om Nelle may not be a Disney princess, but Mulan isn't actually a princess either. Her heroism made Mulan a princess, even though she had nothing to do with the royal family. Om Nelle does a lot of heroics. Just like a Mulan. Moreover, it even has a crown. A tiara with a cute blue stone. But there are a few problems. For example, this crown is actually a belt. Also, even if this was a real crown, Om Nelle has nothing to do with royalty. Om Nelle is a creature, so not a human. That's okay because Nala in The Lion King is also an animal but is considered a Disney Princess. Now the only problem is, Disney didn't create Om Nelle. So she may be a princess in her own right, but never a Disney princess. She would still make a great disney princess out of her.
She's gentle, kind, and clumsy and is bravo enough to stand up to Clayton even when he has a gun -BB2010
I pag-ibig how awkward yet interesting she is; I admire her bravery and empathy, and I like how she has a talent for drawing and curiosity for the jungle life. I pag-ibig her relationship with Tarzan, one of my paborito Disney couples; her disensyo is really pretty as well -WhiteLagoon13
Everything! She is smart, she is dedicated to her work, but I also pag-ibig that her "damsel" moments are the result of her being in an unfamiliar situation, and that she learns to adjust to her new environment sa pamamagitan ng the end of the movie. -Swanpride
