Rapunzel and short hair

TigerRanma Well, in the original story of Rapunzel, Gothel cut Rapunzel's hair as punishment for letting a man into her tower. Lying on the floor, Flynn wasn't going to reach down her shoulders or back to keep her hair long when he cut it. No time to be a hairstylist; the man was dying and was using his last strength to free her, and he could only reach for the back of her neck. And her short hair isn't even bad. Personally, I love how Disney used her hair in their story. They made it magical and more valuable to the plot. In the original story, Rapunzel's hair gets cut so Disney used that to give us a short hair princess since only Snow White has short hair. And they wrote in that it "lost its power" and it turned brown, and that was to give us another princess with brown hair because only Belle does in the lineup. Isn't that awesome? Or am I the only one enjoying this? Variety. I got the brown hair, green eyed, purple dress wearing princess that I wanted. And to make her look more interesting and different, they gave her short hair. Love it. Now give me a Hispanic princess, Disney.
