	JungleQueen13 picked Merida: Well, she's the first and only princess to have hair that is not conventionally beautiful, and I suppose that applies to her entire appearance as well. I can't say much about her personality because I haven't seen Brave, and although it sounds like she's a mixture of the early 90s princesses, she is the first to not have a love interest (not that that's directly related to her personality, but it is one of her defining features). Not necessarily my opinion but many others see her as unique - well, she is in the sense that she doesn't have a love interest. Many view her as different from the others in both looks and personality. Again, this is just how others may perceive the character, it's not necessarily what I believe.
