I don't know why some people say she's "overly bossy". I think it's more of a trait that shows only if there's a need to be bossy.

I think she's very bossy/authoritative, but I LOVE that on her. So I'm not picking "Yes" because would imply that she is overly bossy for my taste and therefore that I don't like this particular trait, but that isn't the truth :)

She has a "bossy" element. But it is tempered by her sweet demeanor and her politeness to everyone. The true "bossy quality" is Tiana's.

she's a bit bossy but definitely not overly so. she's just outspoken and assertive (like many of the other princesses get praised for being, I might add) as well as having leader qualities. I kind of agree on Tiana too.

In fact, I think that's where this perception got started. All my life, the general consensus about Snow White has been that she's too sweet, passive, naive, and a doormat. Since people who like her have gone out of their way in recent years to argue that she does take charge of the dwarves' home, tells them what to do (like wash up), and teaches them responsibilities, people suddenly started complaining that she's too bossy.

Poor thing can't win. People will find some reason to say "She's too this" or "too that" to drag her down.

She only being bossy towards the dwarfs. And that's because they don't know how to clean the house and also themselves.
