People are usually prejudice against sequels

It's still a Disney cheapquel so whatever lol.

I think disney made the sequel because of the historical inaccuracies. However the bad animation and lazy writing made it just a bad movie. I like to pretend it never happened.

I don't dislike it because Pocahontas ended up with John Rolfe — in fact, I think that made it more interesting! I just think it's a really sloppy movie.

I think people would still dislike it since it's not a very well done movie, and the fact that Disney sequels tend to get hate. But it probably wouldn't get as much as it does now, more the normal amount of sequel hate.

It's a Disney sequel, so hate would be inevitable (not counting Pixar in this). Almost certainly not as much though, since the majority of people that I've encountered whom talk about how much they loathe this movie (which is a lot), also say how much they loathe John Rolfe and the butchering of Poca&Smith in the original.

Personally I quite like the movie, in spite of it's quite glaring problems.

'cause the whole sequel makes no sense. All of the characters acting like jerks, they were completely different in the original movie.

Mainly because it's a Disney sequel and nearly all of them are hated more than they are praised.

Personally, I hate it also because the sequel was poorly written.
In my opinion Pocahontas movie doesn't even needs a sequel at all.
