I'm just going to copy and paste what I said in my wallpost about this.

"Okay, I think now we can probably officially know that Disney is NOT going to add Anna and Elsa to the Disney Princess line-up. I mean, it's been two freaking years since the movie came out and they still haven't been added. Tiana, Rapunzel, and Merida didn't take nearly this long to be added. We're coming into 2016, the year that Moana (A future Disney Princess) will be coming out. I think it's safe to say that they're NOT joining! This is the hardest thing to me to accept. Why Disney, why?? Why not Anna and Elsa, and Moana instead?!

I don't mind either way though.

I don't think they're going to get added, but I do think we should still be able to talk about them here because they would suppose to be added and Frozen was advertised as a DP movie before it got so famous, so....

So was Giselle and Enchanted before they figured out they'd have to pay Amy Adams royalties every time they used the character Giselle in their merchandise.

Things that some people don't take into consideration is that when they added Rapunzel and Merida, they only had ONE princess to worry about. For the first time, they are trying to add TWO princesses to the lineup, plus they are getting ready to add Moana, so that's three. It's not as simple as saying, "Bam! There in the lineup!" There's a coronation, a redesign all that fancy stuff. So that's twice the work=twice the time. And on top of that, they're busy making other movies. So, yeah it's going to be a while.

Do I believe Disney made a mistake with trying to add both Elsa and Anna to the lineup? Yes. Do I think because they're more time than usual it's not going to happen? No. So, I think we can't decide if they're going to be added to the lineup now.

Yeah, probably *sigh* It's sad for me if they decide not to let them in, because Anna was my favorite Disney Princess, but what can you do.

Would you accept that I am neutral as an answer?

I don't get what takes them so long. Why won't Disney want to add them to the line up? The movie and the characters are popular enough.

Me and my sister are starting to like frozen. We read the book, and we want to see the movie, so i think Elsa and Anna should be official princesses

Usually, Disney is very quick to add the princesses from a "new" movie to the lineup. They added Tiana within a year of TPATF, and Merida six months after Brave came out. It's not "normal" for Disney to take two years to coronate a new princess.... Unless, they have decided to do something else completely. And apparently, that is what they decided to do with the girls from Frozen. And this was due to their tremendous popularity, that they could be "marketed" without "help" from another franchise.

As these things go, that is a feat that has never been achieved before.

The Frozen franchise is going to have more movies , so I dont think they are going to be part of the DP

I still think there's a chance they'll join. I just wonder when. It'd be weird if Moana joined before them.

At this point, it's no way they're going to be added. I was sort of against them being in the club when they hadn't been added yet. So, yes, I would say the wait is "over" in a sense.

I think with Disney, you never really know and they can always add them in at any time when they feel like it'll help boost sales the most or something like that.

It is clear that they were planning to add them, but the execs see Frozen as better than the other DP movies and characters. It became a cultural phenomenon, merchandise selling out after 2 years, and it is clear that they feel no need to add them. It is kind of demeaning the franchise in their eyes to add them to the DP, since they wont have a main focus.

I think, Anna can be part of DP but not Elsa because she's already a queen. But I have enough to say this about... "sisters of Arendelle will join DP" because it has been a years to be confirm it or not.
