Why would Belle be attracted to POC women? Or are you saying in this instance, Belle would happen to be interested in Jas/Poca/Mulan/Tia because of their personalities, not their skin, but they all happen to be POC?

@princesslullaby, because of their race too. I guess Belle is interested in other cultures aka "far off places". And the description of her favorite story is similar to Aladdin.

I've always had the feeling that they would be a great couple. They're opposites, and Belle definitely can knock Tia out of her comfort zone ^^ in a good way!

I feel like Belle and Tiana would have great conversations, they're both introverted, but Belle would admire Tiana's ambition and work-hardness, and Tiana would appreciate how dreamy Belle is. Where Belle is too judgmental Tiana would soften and where Tiana is standoffish Belle would soften. It's funny how I ship one of my least favorites with one of my favorites, but it's cute.

probably cinderella though tbh - belle canonically has a huge soft spot for fairytales, and the whole "prince(ss) in disguise" trope, so i could see her being beguiled by cindy at least based on the fairytale aesthetic. and they're both lowkey enough to handle each other personality-wise. mulan would work too, in a more non-traditional way.

i think she would love Cinderella for her unfailing grace, her kindness towards strangers and her faith in a good future. All Belle wanted was to be understood and cared for and a bit of adventure, so she would love an idea of sneaking out for a ball and come back to her reality.
