It's immediately something without even seeing it-in this case, The Prince & Prince Phillip heard their individual princesses singing & immediately fell in love before they even saw what they looked like. LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT-cmon, we all know this one. UNREQUITED LOVE-when one or both people love each other but the other person doesn't know it. In this case, Ariel loves Eric but he doesn't know it, and he loves Ariel, but doesn't realize its her he loves. COMPANION LOVE-friends that bloom into something more. FORBIDDEN LOVE-self explanatory. People who love each other that by societal, moral, religious, or etc. standards are not supposed to. Like Romeo & Juliet. TRUE LOVE-when two people have an immediate connection but aren't immediately in love. In this case Aladdin & Jasmine aren't friends first; when they first meet there is an immediate connection, they flirt, and they clearly both like each other a lot, but they aren't necessarily in love. But as they get to know each other more it blooms into being in love, although admittely at a much faster pace than normal. ADMIRATIONAL LOVE-I sort of coined this term, although there is an actual term i dont remember. Mulan & Shang don't share an immediate connection but she likes him at first, out of admiration. Then once Shang finds out she's a girl he realizes how exceptional she is & admires her for it, and likes her too.
