The Novel that started it all!
The Novel that started it all!
Hi everyone, this will be my first artikulo since my last one on a non-Disney film. So, this artikulo on the Hunchback of Notre Dame and how similar the film with the original novel sa pamamagitan ng Victor Hugo.

The Novel

In the original novel, the story is quite dark and depressing, it has a LOT of flashbacks resulting in the reader to be confuse along the way. It was discovered at the end of the original novel that Gudule is the biological mother of Esmeralda and the latter's name is Agnes.
Quasimodo has learning disabilities which causes frustrations with Frollo, his master. The latter adopted the former at the cathedral after no one wants to adopt the poor baby!
Speaking of Frollo, he has a younger idle brother name Jehan who was killed at the end of the novel sa pamamagitan ng Quasimodo during the battle at Notre Dame.
Sadly, the ending is a sad ending where Quasimodo kills Frollo and says, "All that I had love!", it was the last time that everybody sees the Hunchback, and his skeleton was discovered alongside Esmeralda which his skeleton was turned to dust.
His relationship with Esmeralda is cordial and it was discovered that he was left sa pamamagitan ng the Gypsies and Esmeralda was abducted!
Phoebus was no saint to Esmeralda at the end, because he thought that she attempts to kill him and he is engage to Fleur-De-Lis, his marriage is miserable to say the least!
Finally, Pierre Gringoire is save sa pamamagitan ng Esmeralda sa pamamagitan ng marrying him after he discovers the Court of Miracles. Unfortunately, their personalities are different and during the ending, he saves her pet goat name Djali.

The Film

So, the film is partially different from the original novel as the filmmakers want to make it into a friendly family movie. There are also several differences with the film in a contrast with the novel.
First, Esmeralda survives and Phoebus does not have a fiance but marries the former in the end with Quasimodo giving the couple his blessings in the end.
Frollo has no brother and becomes pyromaniac sa pamamagitan ng burning all of Paris down! He meets his death when his wish was granted.
Finally, Quasimodo is accepted in society after the Parisians witness his good deeds after all!

Someday!

There you have it, the comparisons between the novel and the film, if I miss anything out, you may feel free to write it down in the comment section!

Welcome everyone to my first Disney countdown article. I was debating on whether to do one of these, and then debating again on which site to put it on, but after much inner war, Fanpop was decided upon. The inspiration for this countdown came from a few other lists I had looked at regarding other fandoms' adorable characters (not quite babies).

Now, I have been on this site for ... a long time, and I realize that everyone is passionate about what they like. That being said, I am also aware that some nasty comments could come out of that. Obviously my #1 may not be yours and your #15 may not...

Even though Fantasia isn't on the list, I thought this image would be perfect. Night on Bald Mountain is such a dark sequence.

#10. The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad
The reason I put this one so low on the listahan is because it's mainly dark because of Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I mean, sure Wind in the Willows may have it's moments but it's Legend of Sleepy Hollow that makes this film as dark as it is. Okay, they were both single shorts before even being squeezed together in one package film. So, I may be kinda cheating here. But I couldn't think of any other movie that could beat this one to the #10 spot. So, anyway, yes, Legend of Sleepy Hollow is quite a dark short. I mean, come on! The main character gets killed...

As some of you may remember, I made an artikulo about what I consider to be the worst Disney Channel shows. So now I made an artikulo about what I consider the best. These shows were where it was at for Disney. They had great humor, enjoyable characters, good life lessons, real stuff, talented people, awesome cartoon, and they even had shows that were based off their movies. Some of these didn't start off on Disney Channel but later were added to the channel because they were so awesome and successful. Please comment and keep in mind this is just my opinion. If there's a ipakita that's not here...

This is an old idea that I had a few years nakaraan but never got to, until now. Disney Channel, a place that gave many celebrities their first breakout role that would lead to many other opportunities. Some end up being successful adults, some become train wrecks, and some fade away from fame and are barely remembered (despite that they're still in the business). However, if Disney Channel and Hollywood in general, have taught us anything, it's that you don't need talent to be famous, in some cases you don't even have to be attractive or talented in order to be famous. I think anyone can sing if...
