Freakoutnow: An answer. I really don't get it... Are you scared of Bats or Birds?
Crane: I'd rather not tell you that.
Freakoutnow: Please?
Crane: Why would you care?
Freakoutnow: Well you see, I've always had this... Fascination in fear. Not the normal fears like being afraid of not leaving anything behind for your kids, but the phobias. The fears that impel people to do... Crane? You've gone quiet all of a sudden.
Crane: Hm? No I'm just listening.
Freakoutnow: Well, I've figured out that fear is power. But power is not fear. And... And would you please stop gawking at me like that?
Crane: Oh no please, continue...
Freakoutnow: Forget it. Do you like this place?
Crane: *Smile turns to frown* The Arkham? No, not really. This is just the only place I prefer to be in this wretched hell-hole.
Freakoutnow: This is your old office then?
Crane: Yes, for years. You've been here a few times before.
Freakoutnow: *Laughs* Yeah, last time you hung me from that ceiling fan. Why doesn't anyone come here anymore?
Crane: It was blocked off because of all the remains of Fear Gas floating around. I'm surprised you haven't been affected yet... Or, or have you?
Freakoutnow: Well... That does explain the reappearing clown faces.
Crane: *In shock* You have Coulrophobia?
Freakoutnow: Mildly.
Crane: Interesting. *Mimics Glasgow smile*
Freakoutnow: That's not funny you know.
Crane: It's not meant to be. It's meant to be scary.
Freakoutnow: I don't really find you very intimidating. You're scary with a uwak bar but on your own you're just, just, just you.
Crane: Just... Me. *Sighs*
Freakoutnow: You never answered my question... Fear of Bats or Birds?
Crane: I'll tell you, but the tape goes off.
Freakoutnow: Fine.

Crane: So you see, it's quite expected.
Freakoutnow: Yes I do see. I've always disliked The Bat but I never knew...
Crane: I hate him.
Freakoutnow: And I'm starting to.
Crane: You know, it's nice to talk to someone with the same interests. It makes me feel normal.
Freakoutnow: You are normal. Unique. We all are.
Crane: *Smiling* I like you. You're nice. You can stay.
Freakoutnow: That'll be the last session then?
Crane: Yes, but these talks with you won't end, will they?
