If anything madami was needed to complete Harry's happiness, it was Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle's reactions. He saw them with their heads together later that afternoon in the library, together with a weedy-looking boy Hermione whispered was called Theodore Nott… Goyle cracked his knuckles threateningly and Malfoy whispered something undoubtedly malevolent to Crabbe. 'I know prefects can't dock points from each other,' sneered Malfoy. Crabbe and Goyle sniggered. 'But members of the Inquisitional Squad –'
'The what?' sinabi Hermione sharply.
'The Inquisitional Squad, Granger,' sinabi Malfoy, pointing towards a tiny silver 'I' on his robes just beneath his prefect's badge. 'A select group of students who are supportive of the Ministry of Magic, hand-picked sa pamamagitan ng Professor Umbridge. Anyway, members of the
Inquisitional Squad do have the power to dock points… so, Granger, I'll have five from you for being rude about our new Headmistress. Macmillan, five for contradicting me. Malfoy looked angrier than Harry had ever seen him; he felt a kind of detached satisfaction at the sight of his pale, pointed face contorted with rage.
'You're going to pay, ' sinabi Malfoy in a voice barely louder than a whisper. 'I'm going to make you pay for what you've done to my father

'Well, I'm terrified now, ' sinabi Harry sarcastically. 'I s' pose Lord Voldemort's just a warm-up act compared to you three – what's the matter? ' he added, for Malfoy Crabbe and Goyle had all looked stricken at the sound of the name. 'He's a mate of your dad, isn't he? Not scared of him, are you? '
'You think you're such a big man, Potter, ' sinabi Malfoy, advancing now, Crabbe and Goyle flanking him. 'You wait. I'll have you. You can't land my father in prison –'
'I thought I just had,' sinabi Harry.
'The Dementors have left Azkaban," sinabi Malfoy quietly. 'Dad and the others'll be out in no time…'
'Yeah, I expect they will,' sinabi Harry 'Still, at least everyone knows what scumbags they are now –'
Malfoy's hand flew towards his wand, but Harry was too quick for him; he had drawn his own wand before Malfoy's fingers had even entered the pocket of his robes. (OP38)

Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle, who had clearly been waiting all week for the opportunity to strike without teacher witnesses, attempted to ambush Harry halfway down the train as he made his way back from the toilet. The attack might have succeeded had it not been for the fact that they unwittingly chose to stage the attack right outside a compartment full of D.A. members, who saw what was happening through the glass and rose as one to rush to Harry's aid. sa pamamagitan ng the time Ernie Macmillan, Hannah Abbott, Susan Bones, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Anthony Goldstein, and Terry Boot had finished using a wide variety of the hexes and jinxes Harry had taught them, Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle resembled nothing so much as three gigantic slugs squeezed into Hogwarts uniforms as Harry, Ernie and Justin hoisted them into the luggage rack and left them there to ooze.
'I must say, I'm looking pasulong to seeing Malfoy's mother's face when he gets off the train,' sinabi Ernie with satisfaction.
'Goyle's mum'll be really pleased, though,' sinabi Ron. 'He's loads better looking now.' (OP38)
