Duplicate larawan tend to really bother me in certain spots, and I’ve observed that I’m far from the only one. I know it’s difficult sometimes to know if an image has been uploaded into a spot or not when there are 999,483,937 uploads, especially when they’re lacking in the keyword department.
Google has this nice new feature called a Reverse Image Search. With a reverse image search, you are able to upload or link an image into the paghahanap bar and you’ll be ibingiay a listahan of web pages containing your selected image.
(I’m about to walk you through the steps. I’ll be using a picture from link)
* First, visit link. (tinyeye.com is also another reverse image paghahanap engine, but it doesn’t have Fanpop in its database, so don’t bother.)
* Click on the camera icon located at the end of the paghahanap bar.
---A box will pop up. If you have the image saved to your computer, click on the “upload an image” link, and… upload the image. If it’s easier to get the image URL, get the url and paste it in the textbox.
*Click paghahanap and you’ll be taken to a listahan of results, as Google usually does. In some cases, such as this one, Google will add a word to describe your image.
---In most cases, if the image is already uploaded onto Fanpop, it will be displayed as one of the tuktok results
*If Fanpop doesn’t come up as one of the results,
try erasing Google’s guess and type in “Fanpop”, then click paghahanap again.
*By this point, you should have your answer.
The tuktok result will ALWAYS be:
“Fanpop - tagahanga clubs for everything. What are you a tagahanga of?
www.fanpop.com/
Fanpop is a network of tagahanga clubs for fans of television, movies, music and madami to discuss and share photos, videos, news and opinions with fellow fans. 42 images...”
So ignore that.
What you need to look for is the results that follow. If you don't get any Fanpop results, then you’re ligtas to upload the image without committing the crime of duplication.
If you DO get a Fanpop result, make sure you follow the link and actually check which spot it was uploaded to. (You wouldn’t want to miss out on your opportunity just because someone uploaded the same image to the walang tiyak na layunin spot 2.5 years nakaraan or because it’s the thumbnail of some video)
If you get madami than one Fanpop result, then that most likely means that the image has been uploaded to madami than one spot, as demonstrated below.
Or that the image appears on madami than one url in one single spot, which is completely normal (the spot’s homepage, image page, mga wolpeyper page, the page for the image itself, the related larawan thumbnail, a pick icon, etc.)
Or that a duplicate was added at some point or another.
Here’s to hopes for less duplicate images.
Cheers!

Yesterday, I was fanpoping. I come across the link spot- And went to videos. link is what I saw. There were mansanas pie bidyo there. naisumite sa pamamagitan ng Hulu.
link are some larawan sa pamamagitan ng other fanpopers reporting this.
Hulu's bidyo should NOT be done sa pamamagitan ng a webcrawler. (or whatever you call it) Dave, either have a manual team do hulu's videos, or dont do it at all.
EDIT: as amazondebs says in the comments, Fanpop isen't even getting paid for hulu's videos. What is the purpose of having them here?
(Another) EDIT: madami of this maddness. and in link spot!
Let me tell you how I first discovered fanpop. (Just bored so thought I'd write this)
I was on the net looking for pictures. I then came across a site (Which is this one really) and clicked the link.
I never knew what this site was or what and thought it was one of those many sites like twitter and Facebook.
Browsing some madami I accidentally landed on someone's bista sa tagiliran page and scrolling down say there were pic's looking like cubes. On tuktok there were titled 'Clubs'.
I noticed a familiar icon of my favourite actor and clicked on it.
It was cool, it was like a website just full of that actors info.
I noticed they had quizzes and took part.
Than I released that you had to sign up to record what you got right/wrong etc.
Thats when I decided to log on and realised I was SOOO ADDICTED TO IT!
(Hey I don't even spend so0 much time like this on Facebook!)
So that was how I discovered Fanpop-not to dramatic or interesting, but i found my rabbit hole.
Whats yours?
