99% of you are amazing fans! This is a guide on dealing with the 1%.

To summarize:

1. ulat ATTACKERS IMMEDIATELY. You are doing the entire community a favor as they are probably attacking other members.

YOU MUST PROVIDE AS MUCH EVIDENCE AS POSSIBLE IN THE ulat FIELD, including iugnay to the attacks.

Attacks are personal insults, threats, bigotry, etc. A person saying they don't like a contribution is NOT an attack. Having a pagtatalo is also not an attack until insults/threats etc. are mixed in.

2. IGNORE THEM. DO NOT RESPOND BACK. If you attack back, you are probably giving the attacker/troll what they want. We won't dig through 20 pages of reports to find out who started it. In some cases, both people will be banned.

3. Reporting is not a weapon. People who fraudulently ulat enemies, do not provide details, and/or repeatedly ulat people without providing evidence may also be removed from Fanpop. Some weirdos ulat their own fake users. Seriously, you are asking for it, and you aren't fooling anyone.

4. CHEATERS WILL BE BANNED: DON'T SWITCH TO YOUR FAKE ACCOUNTS EVER AGAIN

Don't switch accounts to jack up your fans, props, poll votes, or whatever. It's not fair to the honest fans. If you have mga kaibigan who do this, please send them this article.

ALL of your accounts will be banned for life if a moderator chooses, even if you have amazing medals. I'm sure you can think of some famous banned fans, so we are serious. Consider this the final warning.

If you created multiple accounts for any reason, pick one, and do not ever log into the other accounts again. You don't need to alisin the old accounts, but do not use them. Excuses like "it's my brother/sister/dog's account" won't cut it.

Everyone is forgiven at this point. If you've cheated in the past, just don't do it again.

If you get caught cheating after this artikulo is published, you are toast, and you may lose your "main" account forever.

This is an artikulo describing how and why bans happen. It's an updated artikulo based on one we posted in a troublesome club.

We've recently lifetime-banned several of the most troublesome users and deleted all of their content. In other words, there is no coming back for them. All their contributions are gone.

"But Fanpop, how can I avoid getting banned? I'm just a nice, honest, non-cheating fan!"

If someone picks a fight with you, DO NOT RESPOND, and immediately ulat it, and make sure you link to or quote the offending content. We absolutely need all the details. If you simply ulat the user without providing evidence, no action will be taken against them.

Also, we're talking about personal attacks, not normal human interactions.

Example:
A tagahanga writes: "You suck and yo mamma sucks" ->You ulat them->Troll banned for life->You helped Fanpop terminate a troll and made Fanpop a better place!

Bad example:
Another tagahanga writes: "This was some interesting fanfic, but the first section is taken word-for-word from my work last week. Here's the link. Do you mind changing it or attributing it to me?"->They are NOT a Troll, NOT banned, you should change your fanfic immediately, and you just wasted everyone's time. That being said, if the tagahanga started the post with a slur or insult, they would have a problem.

There's a saying that "you can get away with almost anything if you do it nicely." While we're not necessarily encouraging people to try to get away with stuff, the "nicely" part is the key takeaway.

ibingiay the volume of content and literally millions of fans, we cannot go and dig through a thousand comments to find out "who started it."

Think of it this way: if teachers and parents right now don't have time to figure out "who started it", imagine if one's parents had millions of children. Are they going to have time to sift through everything?

If you do respond to sinabi troll and there is a ton of back and forth, with both sides cussing each other out, both of you will be banned from ever joining Fanpop again. There is a good chance moderators will alisin 100% of your content and strip your medalya and caps, as well.

If your buddy was banned, please do not bother to contact us. There was a very good reason, and saying "he was really nice to me" really means nothing. Even criminals are nice to some people. Giving a moderator attitude will be bad for everyone, and you won't be helping your friend's case.

The good news is that 99% of the users here are great people and not causing problems. Be cool and courteous with one another, report trolls immediately, WITH LINKED EVIDENCE, and every time WITHOUT responding to them, and, together, we'll purge them from Fanpop once and for all.

... or someone's way to scream at somebody.

Today's Fanpop has madami people mean and sarcastic then others. I'm not against it, but I don't have to be.

For those "yelled" at constantly, that means you're doing something WRONG! And it only leads to disaster. What might you do wrong?
• Spamming
• Spelling names wrong
• Using incorrect grammar
• Posting miscategorized pictures, picks, questions(answers), etc. to a spot
• Hating on the person's spot
• Impersonating a celebrity
• Making a hate spot

If you do any of those things, you WILL be yelled at or sarcastically talked to. And don't be...

Alright so this is just for a laugh really, what you change isn't permanent anyway, only you cans ee it and when you refresh everything will change to normal again anyway so it s just for a laugh really so I'm going to teach you how to edit Fanpop clubs for your eyes only, you can have a bit of fun with things you hate or love!

First you will be needing:

- Google Chrome
- A Fanpop Account

Open up Chrome

Go to Fanpop and log in

Go to the club you want to edit (or maybe even someones profile, or yours)

Right click on something you want to change (For example, the tagahanga count) and click Inspect Element...

if we wanted to change the tagahanga count, let's say the tagahanga count on the group we wanted to change was 200. Look for '200' in the inspect element database thingy...

Then edit it and press enter or f10 to save it

You can do this with pretty much anything (see my example)

Okay, for the past two months I have steadily grown addicted to this website. Maybe it's all the free time I have these days, or maybe it's just I have an addictive personaily. It could of course be that this website is pure brilliance and I constantly think about it. Does that make me sad? No way! Because I can bet I'm not the only one. So here's a checklist of how to know when you've crossed the line between fanpop-addict, and totally-crazy. :)

1. You form an opinion on something and think "I'm going to immediately make a pick about this"...and then the rest of your plan for the araw goes out...

I can't believe it's been a whole year!
Today marks our 1-year anniversary of launching the Fanpop public beta! That's right folks, it was one taon nakaraan today that we pressed the button and unveiled Fanpop to the world wide web. And since then, we've had millions and millions of people come to the site. It's been great because we've gotten to know so many of you through the community. Whether it be in a fun pagtitip. game like A-Z in bayani or a heat Picks pagtatalo about vanilla vs. chocolate, we've really bonded with our users over the past year.

The site has grown and changed so much in the past year. When we launched our spots we just...
