This year, in addition to the regular competition, we will also be having a
Six Word Story contest!
This artikulo will answer all your tanong about this contest:
What is a Six Word Story?
A Six Word Story is pretty self explanatory. It is simply a story made up of only six words. The fist Six Word Story was written sa pamamagitan ng Ernest Hemmingway:
“For sale: baby shoes. Never worn.”
The trick is Pagsulat a Six Word Story that will make the reader think about what happened before of after this situation. In this case, the writer of this ad might have Nawawala his/her child before the shoes were ever worn. Another great example:
“She met him at her wedding.”
This one also makes you think? Who did she meet? Was it her long Nawawala father or her true love? What were the consequences of this meeting? That’s what makes this a great Six Word Story.

How can I enter?
To enter the Six Word Story contest, you will have to follow these rules:
1. Your story must have six words. I know it sounds obvious, but stories containing madami or less than 6 words will not be entered in the contest. For this contest there’s one additional rule. Words such as I’m, can’t, haven’t, ect... are allowed and count as one word. However, you are only allowed to use one of these per Six Word Story.
2. Don’t use Six Word Stories that you have posted online before. We will be checking for plagiarism and online names are always hard to track down. If we find your Six Word Story somewhere else online, it will not be entered in the contest.
3. You can ibigay up to 2 Six Word Stories per user. If you want to only enter one, that’s fine too, but two is the maximum.
4. Your Six Word Story must be naisumite before July 1st! All stories entered after that petsa will not be entered in the contest.
5. Send your Six Word Story in a personal message to me, link. Do so sa pamamagitan ng clicking on ‘Send a Message’ on my bista sa tagiliran page. The subject of that message must be: *Your username*’s Six Word Story entry 2011.
How will the winner be chosen?
There will be special Six Word Story contest judges who will judge all naisumite Six Word Stories. They will chose their six paborito stories. Those will be posted as a pick, where the users of Fanpop will select the winner.
