Superman, who first appeared in 1938, was the superhero that helped superheroes become popular. Thanks to his success, several other superheroes were created and became beloved icons. Superman was also the superhero who made superhero films become a popular trend. His iconic 1978 film led to the countless amount of superhero films we now have.

Other times, she's working with Batman. The 2000's comics took things to a new level where Batman trusted Catwoman with the knowledge of his secret identity.
