When she was a teenager, she crush with equal strength in boys and girls from her class and did not see nothing wrong with that. Imposed sa pamamagitan ng society stereotypes perception of relationships and pag-ibig deeply touched her and strangled. Gala was open not only to the other kinds of love, but also to other cultures and generally understood "otherness", which is why she left Milan in 1991, at the age of 16, and set off to conquer the world.

The Tunnel

Gala stopped firstly in Boston, then in Manhattan. During her stay in America, she finished art school, studied dance and photography. In her spare time she was pagbaba feminist books and visited the hottest night clubs in New York, shooting "people of the night": DJs, clubbers and eccentric characters of underground gay scene. One of these mga litrato - poster ipinapakita two woman halik in the (not existing now) club The Tunnel - is welcoming fans on her official website... While the young Italian was punk-rock soul in the club world, she was seduced sa pamamagitan ng dance sounds. Gala also wanted to make music, but as a woman it was hard to get through. The key to the music world turned out to be photography. In exchange for the CD cover disensyo for one of the DJ's, Gala recorded her first demo - Everyone Has Inside (1995).

Suddenly
Thanks to Freed From Desire Gala has become an icon of dance music in 1996. She has proved that despite the lack of music education, has a huge talent and charisma to seduce people and make them dance. Gala loved to dance and wanted for the people to enjoy themselves with her music. And because she was a smart girl, she get upset sa pamamagitan ng the dance songs with lyrics about nothing. So Gala wated for her lyrics to be simple, but not ornery. Each song sa pamamagitan ng Gala has a message. The lyrics refers to universal values, as well as to Gala's thoughts, emotions, and deeper events. The first demo - Everyone Has Inside - was an unexpected '95 hit, and the first message to LGBT people. In the intro we hear that a girl tries to get with her girlfriend to the club, and the susunod words tells to not give up: Through this way is hard / Open your wings and fly / Follow Your puso / Do not try to hide and lie. Do It Yourself
In 1996-1998, the dance music scene was lying at Gala's foot. She appeared in telebisyon programs (including the gay kulay-rosas TV), gave numerous concerts and received many important music awards and nominations. This great success she could owe only to herself. If not for her determination, hard work and constant struggle with adversity and the "glass ceiling", she wouldn't achieve so much. Gala debut album COME INTO MY LIFE came out in 1997 under the name of a small Italian label Do It Yourself. As she says, the work in this place looked exactly as its name sounds, so "do it yourself". Gala umakda the music and lyrics sa pamamagitan ng herself and at the same time she was engaged in producing, arranging, promoting and organizing concerts. Sam made the album artwork and music videos. As emphasized sa pamamagitan ng the fans, Gala was (and still is) a unique, independent, mysterious and attractive woman, which broke both male and female hearts, wherever she appeared. She adopted a minimalist style of dress and behavior, she sang in a low voice similar to spoken. Her music was downright addictive, and the lyrics deep and sincere - it was impossible to go to her indifferently.

Let A Girl Fly

susunod singles Let A Boy Cry[b] and [b]Come Into My Life completed Gala's image as an independent artist with strong nakakita and personality, and gained a life-long admiration of fans, especially in the bilog of LGBTQ. "Let A Boy Cry" tells about switch of the gender roles, or just about to allow the boys to be sensitive, and the girls to be tough. The text is also a kind of anthem of an independent and strong woman: Reflected onto the wet pavement / Can you see what I see? / The trembling image of my eyes / That are still free (...) And they say silver / I choose ginto / I'm not afraid to be alone / They say silver / ginto I choose / I've never done as I've been told. Clip for the song "Let A Boy Cry" shows the interior of the house, in which boys and girls can act freely, without fear of criticism of public opinion. So we see a girl playing basketbol or a pair of gay men sitting on the couch. The album "Come Into My Life" contained two other songs speaking of "different love". In the song Summer Eclipse we hear: We know the truth, it's hard to lie / We try to avoid each others eyes / They say our hands Should never touch / The rules of pag-ibig that kill so much / I'll wait for you if this can not be / We'll meet again in a dream. Another "rainbow" song is fabulous 10 O'clock, a song which is an reflection of unrequited love.

As An Artist I Refuse Your System

With the end of the 90's Gala has just begun to gain momentum. She've met Steve Fargnoli, Prince's manager, who decided to represent her. The result of this cooperation was the signed contract with Universal Records. Unfortunately, he died shortly afterwards, leaving Gala alone against the label blocking her development and imposes his own vision of music. She did not agree to such a system, thus broke the contract and returned to NYC, this time settling in Brooklyn. Gala consciously gave up to the big money and fame, which she could reach sa pamamagitan ng committing to a global label. She would not want, however, be a product for sale, but the Queen, managing her own life and work. For this reason, Gala decided to start her own record company, to be able to realize her ideas. Gala was also tired of the fact that “people of power” in the music industry were only men. She decided that her label will work a lot of woman. She gave her label name Matriarchy Records, to highlight the presence of women in the music industry. With the decision to self-production of her music, Gala has returned to the scene even madami powerful, madami reliable on herself and on her own terms. In 2005 she released a new single Faraway, which tells the story of the loss of a loved one, which you still love. A taon later came I'm The World, which includes elements of the video installation sa pamamagitan ng Argentinean artist Sebastiano Mauri. Sebastiano is also the may-akda of the famous in gender circles clip "Love Has No Gender".

Tough Love
Then Gala met the producer Marcus Bell, with whom she recorded the album TOUGH LOVE. The segundo LP album of the artist, and at the same time the first under her own label, was released in 2009 and it can be downloaded from the iTunes platform. "Tough Love" is musically different from "Come Into My Life", as it is a recording of musical exploration and experimentation with the style to found somewhere Gala’s own voice. On the songs on the album you can hear the impact of rocky & electronic Brooklyn and inspiration of artists such as Prince, Pat Benatar, Patti Smith and the Riot Grrrl stream. Gala still feels like a punk soul in pop music, which clearly shows the "Tough Love" album. She continues the previously taken way of indie - Gala is engaged in production, distribution and promotion of her music. Mainly ilathala it on the Internet and encouraged fans to spread her music further. Especially the LGBT community will be pleased with two songs from the album: DKOL and She Really Wants To Try It. Both fantastic in terms of music talk about "a different kind of love." "Different Kind Of Love" is a kind of personal song to Gala, so before she sings it on the show, usually says a few inspiring words to the audience. And "She Really Wants To Try It" is simply a sewy song sung sa pamamagitan ng a woman for woman: You need it, you want it / You know that you can get it / Alone in my room / Are you gonna go for it? (...) Just Try me / Take me / Touch me / Taste me ...

Come Into My Life

Gala has probably the most fans among the community of gay, lesbian and queer. This is not surprising if one takes into account Gala’s nakakita and interests. Gala is also constantly present on her official Twitter and website, where she writes about what is important to her, what she was thinking or doing. Most of these entries ilipat on the feminist or LGBTQ issues. So if any of you have not done it yet, you should GO and visit link, and you’ll feel at home.

Gala currently working on the third album, but does not pay attention to the deadlines, because the motivation is is not money but the music itself. Composing and Pagsulat lyrics are the joy for Gala, and this joy she wants to pass on, giving her listeners songs fully considered musically and visually. Gala loves to play live and interact with fans, but many organizers take her as a 90’s singer and did not want her to sing new songs. Whereas Gala is willing to take less money for ipakita but to sing with the live band her new songs, not just hits dating back madami than a decade. Gala is a true artist, a singer, not a season star. Growing musically every day, always looking for something new and fresh, she works with a variety of musicians and DJs, making music and wanting to share it with the audience.
