I think it was wrong that Luke didn't want her to know about April or, as she knew, to contact her in any way.

I think that Luke just did not want to make Lorilae upset and ruin their wedding. He did make a poor choice, but I do think that she needed to get past it, I mean, I would be in shcok at first but then try to be as suportive as I could.

she would have been totally fine with it except he didn't tell her right away then he kept her sepertate from april so it was hard to get to be apart of their relationship if she isn't aloud to be involved. like aprils sleepover party. look at what happened there.

She wasn't upset because he had a daughter, I mean, she has one too. She was upset because Luke didn't tell her. I think she was justified in acting the way she did because Luke didn't trust Lorelei and that really hurt her.

Luke said in season 7 that he used April to push Lorelai away.

Yeah, Lorelai was totally fine about the fact that Luke had a daughter. But that he kept it a secret from her for so long and then kept her seperate from April - that was the tough part. Lorelai was part of Luke's life just like April. Only that Luke didn't want April to be part of Lorelai's life. That is what hurt her. - I hope I'm getting across what I'm trying to say.

Lorelai is a really cool person and I am sure that she would have been fine if Luke had just come out and told her sooner and I'm sure he would had probably helped him out with the whole situation. Luke was acting ridiculous when he didn't tell Lorelai.

I know Luke was nervas and all to tell her , but Lorelia whould have understood.

Lorelai overreacted, but who wouldn't? I think he should have told her sooner. But it's not like he was going to keep it a secret from her, he just wasn't ready yet.

i think it was completely justified. luke shut her out for no real reason and he hurt lorelai time in time again. he doesnt deserve her love. mistake after mistake - she shouldn't have forgiven him.

It's neither here nor there. But it was a big thing for Luke to go through and though I was furious about the whole thing, after watching the episodes again, many times, the whole April thing doesn't bother me. It's cute seeing Luke as a dad.
