ok, first, let's talk about the song

i think it's nice and all, but very forgetable. i had to hear madami than 5 times in a row, to fully enjoy it.
can't believe this is going to have an MV
it's just like..SO BLAND. one of the blandest SNSD ballads, tbh.
i don't understand why so many people are saying "OMG, IT'S WONDERFUL"

Now let's ilipat on to the main issue of this article

OK, I GET IT. Yoona, Hyoyeon and Yuri are NOT AMAZING SINGERS. but this was beyond ridiculous. i really felt sorry for these girls and if i was one of them, i would be so frustrated.

before i reveal the line distribution, let's talk about the pros

1-Once again, Sooyoung sings a lot(for a supposed sub-vocal, that is). seems to me that Sooyoung is now a LEAD vocal, at least in JAPAN. and i really like that. i'm so proud of her and she truly deserves these lines, because she improved a lot

2-Altough, i don't like Jessica's voice, she definitely returned in this song...she doesn't sing madami than TaeNy, but still, her lines are quite long and she gets a high note, which was something we didn't see for months

3-Many Tiffany in this song and at first i was like "oh...expected". but then i compared it to "Indestructible" and believe me, it's a LOT BETTER. Tiffany isn't so proeminent in this song, even though she has lots of lines and adlibs
(and i pag-ibig Tiffany ok? she's my 4h paborito member. but i'm just saying what i feel, regarding the tons of lines she has now in every snsd song. i know it's not her fault, anyway, i should blame the producer)

4-Taeyeon has much madami lines that showcase her powerful voice. i don't know about you guys, but she was practicaly non existent on Indestructible (and many other songs from their third japanese album), so it's nice to see our main vocal back

now for the cons

1-TTSJ feat SSYYH. basically.....
i get that they're the best singers but this was TOO MUCH.

2-Sunny's lack of lines...
really, i was shocked. i don't like her voice, tbh, but i almost can't hear her. isn't she a LEAD vocal anyway? shouldn't she be pag-awit the same amount of lines as Tiffany and Seohyun, at least?
she even sings less than Sooyoung(not the first time, anyway, but it's always surprising)

3-Hyoyeon, Yoona, Yuri don't even get a full line, but a WORD. i don't know what happened here, but it was pathetic. and it doesn't even last 3 seconds. poor girls. SERIOUSLY

4-the song. like i said, it's pretty bland and forgetable. still pretty, though. lol

pretty_angel92 DaniMF what irritates me is that TTS are still the main focus on the OT9 songs. they already have a SUBUNIT, FOR GOD'S SAKE. LET THEM SING ALL THE LINES THEY WANT ON THE SUBUNIT, but DON'T MAKE THEM SING THE MAJORITY OF THE OT9 SONGS.....please?????????? i mean, it's so disrespectful. i wouldn't mind all the TTS on the OT9 songs, IF the other members had SUBUNITS aswell..... but tbh, at this point, every OTP song is TTS (and sometimes Sic) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the others....

vinxinc The only thing unfair is Sunny getting too few lines but I think HyoYulYoon don't deserve more lines, esp in a ballad like this. Their lines were very limited in Time Machine and AMLIFY as well.

Tippany This isn't even new anymore, if you look at it for the past years since their debut they never really get fair line distributions either whether it's a Japan or Korea release.

Tiagih2 Sunny didn't sing less than Sooyoung, they sang [b]equal[/b] amounts of lines, there is a difference. Yes there was a lot of Taeyeon, Jessica, Seohyun, and Tiffany but honestly that is what happens when members don't improve thier singing. Yoona, Hyoyeon, and Yuri (as well as SooSun) need to improve thier singing if they want more lines.

vinxinc ^ I don't think Sunny needs to improve her singing. Sunny has the best ballad voice (as proved in songs like Time Machine and Born to Be a Lady). They just decided to give Seohyun and Tiffany more lines, mostly because of the current TTS promotion. I think Sunny could sing way better than those two.

Tiagih2 ^^I do and that isn't to say she has is a bad singer. There isn't as much demand of her voice as say Jessica, Taeyeon, Tiffany, and lately Seohyun. IMO if any member wants more lines they have to earn them. I don't think (and I could be wrong ) its a TTS promotion because why would Japan care about TTS, unless SM is going to pull a KRY ^ If they were to sing that life, that is line she would have to sing, abdlibs are lines too or else people wouldn't say Tiffany has too many lines. Sooyoung gets more singing lines but she didn't anymore than Sunny, because I heard Sunny three times just like I heard Sooyoung three times. Hyoyeon is still a bad singer in my opinion compared to the others, same with Yoona, and Yuri was never a good singer anyway.

DaniMF Hyoyeon improved since last comeback, but Japan hates her and they can't give her lanes. Also SK. There is no other explanation.

Tiagih2 ^its not that they hate hyoyeon, Hyoyeon doesn't get much anyway so I guess they follow suit. They aren't lead singers so they shouldn't get that many lines anyway, they are the dancers. I think Divine could have distributed a bit more evenly because the song wasn't all that challenging, but on the same note i don't think any of the dancers should have more lines than any of the singers.

The ladies of Girls’ Generation have completed all 20 shows for their Japanese tour!

The girls embarked on their segundo Hapon Arena Tour back on February 9, 2013. During the tour, they had several hilarious episodes, including Taeyeon and Jessica‘s throwing incidents.
