After breaking into the Japanese music market with both Genie & Gee and achieving a huge success with the two songs, the girls of SNSD are hoping to take it further with the release of the Japanese version of Oh! on February 2nd 2011.
'Oh!', the pamagat track of SNSD’s segundo Korean full studio album, which was released in January 2010 has the type of rhythm and melody close to those of J-pop songs and thus, it is regarded as the Japanese fans’ most anticipated song.
According to SM Entertainment, SNSD’s ‘Oh!’ is also the most popular song among Japanese fans where there were many cosplays and covers on YouTube.
The girls plan to have a successful taon in 2011 with the release of Oh! and also plan for it to place high on the charts as well. SNSD will release the CD+DVD pack for Hoot in Hapon which comes with a photobook ,a sticker and a trading card on December 22nd of this year.
SNSD will also be releasing the Japanese edition of the 3rd Mini Album ‘Hoot’ on December 22nd.
