Girls’ Generation member Taeyeon has released black-and-white teaser photos and a video for her upcoming single, “Rain.”

The teasers were released Wednesday through her official webpage (taeyeon.smtown.com/) and the SMTown YouTube channel.

In the photos, she puts her hand on a glass window, with raindrops on its surface. In another photo, the artist looks comfortable yet melancholy as she lies on an antique sofa.

Taeyeon’s new single is to be released through “Station” — SM Entertainment’s new online streaming platform to release special singles of their artists exclusively. They will release these singles on a specific day of each week. “Rain” is to be the opening number for the company’s digital renovation project.

Taeyeon’s new single “Rain” will be unveiled on “Station” later in February.
