Yes, it has! This coming August 5 marks the girl group\'s 9th anniversary, and to celebrate with Sone, Girls\' Generation will be releasing a new song as this week\'s artist for \'

That Summer (0805)", the song dedicates a message of thanks to Sone, who have loved and supported Girls\' Generation through the years. In fact, the lyrics were specially composed by Girls\' Generation member Sooyoung!

I was in 5th grade when I got into SNSD (and kpop) and now I\'m about to be a senior in high school. Jeez. A baby could have grown into a full blown 9 year old with how long they\'ve been around. Sooyoung wrote the Korean version of "What do i do" in Tiffany\'s solo album, and now this anniversary song, It good to see her works getting more accepted by SM for release. I know various other members like Yuri and Tiffany also submit their works but as they say it gets rejected quite often. hopefully they will improve and have more songs written by themselves.
