How do I beat 'Sayonara Salvatore', in GTA III?

It's been a whole buwan now since I'm struggling to beat the mission where I'm oredered sa pamamagitan ng Asuka to kill the Maffia boss who betrayed me. Evertime I'm trying to get close to him, I get shot into swiss cheese or he escapes... Any tips?

It is really easy.Get there as fast as you can.And walk a little faraway place where you can see what is happening in front of the club.When the mafia sentinel vehicles arrive be ready.Press esc as soon as Salvatore enters the car or if he is nearby the car.after pressing esc type"bangbangbang"(without quotes).they all will be killed and you will pass the mission too.

This is a PS2 question. Should've put that on here earlier... xD Anyway, finally beat this mission about a taon ago, but thanks anyway. ;)
