i just watched the orginal and it wasnt bad but i thought it was a lil over the top...i like the new movie better,the songs just make it so much more fun plus the new one is a lil more real to life in the story line and such...

Yes I have seen it numerous times. Although I absolutely love this version. I like the 1988 version with Ricki Lake and Michael St. Gerard a bit more. Probably because I grew up on that one, and I'm more biased.

The original is more a satire of the times the movie was set in. The new one is an adaption of an adaption so of course some stuff was rearranged or lost all together.

how could anyone not like the original one!!!????? it was awsome!!! and ricki lake played tracey to perféction!!! the new one is awsome too, tho a bit to cheesy or my taste!! great songs tho, very catchy! lol. :)
