Books don't usually fit down a toilet.
I don't think people have much control over what's "in their heart" (and by "heart", I mean limbis system. All hearts do is pump blood, they don't control emotion)
Negative emotions are emotions too, to like it or not, if Twilight makes you feel negative emotions, it's "in your heart".
Cassie, I just want to ask you a question (not that it's anything personal). Why do Twilight fans spend their time trying to defend Twilight while it is literally impossible to guard all of Twilight's loopholes - as in...do you see that much Twilight fans finding logical faults in Harry Potter?
What I want to say is, disregarding the mean things people say about a book, there are always gaps to be picked out. And when there are as many gaps to be picked out as there is in Twilight, that's when you truly have to question the ability of the author.
Because Twilight fans want to defend the series that they like. They don't think that the series is perfect (nothing is), they just want to defend what they can because some of the "plot holes" that the Antis point out can be disputed.
And the reason you don't see as many Twilight fans pointing out the flaws in HP is because 1. there are more HP fans that are Antis in this spot and 2. a lot of the Twilight fans on this spot also like HP.
Helena-B-Carter: What I want to say is, disregarding the mean things people say about a book, there are always gaps to be picked out.
This. And the same thing goes for HP. It is not perfect either, and there are gaps that can be picked out of it, too. There just aren't as many people in this spot who are willing to dissect HP in the way that they are with Twilight.
Good job on picking up on that...
Now let us go off point.
Why do I, and others defend Twilight, while you think there are countless plotholes?
Well because why not? Wy would you decide to defend Harry Potter?
I like Twilight. It's pretty clear to me that many of these plot holes are just someone not knowing enough history or science, complaining about things, or purposefully twisting words, as you say.
Why do you not see Twilight fans finding "logical faults" in Harry Potter?
I can't speak for everyone, but for me personally, it is not worth my time. I have no reasonto go reading through the books, forming a bunch of lists so I can post them on the internet. I'm satisfied simply saying "I'm not into it". I don't feel I need to prove to other people that I don't like Harry Potter.
This whole "logical reasons" thing is ridiculous, I don't even think it's possible. Every single "logical reason" I've seen is either an opinion, a preference, or just factually incorrect. I don't like seeing people riding on their high horses because they think their dislike for something is "logical". It's fine to dislike whatever you want, but it's all preferences, it's not "logical reasoning".
And I find it extremely interesting how you managed to see all the things against Twilight I have written and not the sincere question I have put up. Therefore I will ask the question again, since you are the Twilight expert here: Did the final battle that never happened in the books happen in the movie?
Obviously I do not know because I have not gone to watch Breaking Dawn Part 2.
I do not enjoy pointing out flaws and listing reasons and whatnot, so I don't do it.
I do enjoy sharing my opinion on things I like, so I do it.
Typing a lot is not my issue at all.
It's not all that interesting. I did not answer becaue it was not in the comment addressed toward me.
The answer is complicated, but I'll say yes.
It happened as it did in the book, but you can see it.
Moral of the story kids; don't flush stuff. Especially books. Donate them and happily complain about them online. The end :)
