Is it just me, or is there a word missing from this poll's question? I can't understand it as it is.

There is a word missing in the poll's question, it's just not making any sense!

They do have to split them up in some way, to arrange classes and dormitories, and to have a disciplinary system. It's commonly done in Muggle schools (though obviously that's through random choice not a hat which can read your personality traits). It's not like the Sorting has to have a lifetime's impact on you, or that going into one House means you have nothing of the traits of the others.

I also went under the impression that sort was the word. :P But yeah I think 10 is a bit young; they haven't even hit puberty yet! So the kids are going to change a lot over time. They should at least wait until the kid is like 13. But at the same time they do have to keep the school organized. So maybe a resort a few years later could work?

^I just think that'd be too disruptive.
