	shieldmaiden picked Order of the Phoenix (Yates): Yates was able to turn Voldemort into a much more daunting and intimidating character while still keeping the sad character design that Newell allowed in GOF. I personally love the Voldemort character design from Sorcerer's Stone and never really fully appreciated it until one of my friends mentioned how much they loved it. However, since we have the GOF visual interpretation, that's just how it is. Yates showed how frightening Voldemort was and how unforgiving he is too. From the moment he comes up behind Harry to when he leeringly tells a very weak, but defiant Harry, "You're a fool Harry Potter, and you will lose everything" shivers up spine was just mesmerizing. Fiennes really embraced the role too and I can't imagine anyone else as Voldemort. I find Columbus's one laughable, and GoF was the moment when he became perfectly creepy, with the little weird mannerisms and the eyes (i felt it was a really good choice not making them red, it shows the emotion and creepyness of the character a lot better), but i truly felt that Yates made the character more finite and Fiennes really got into the role and the way he said the words was less foolish and more like "AHHHH HE'S GONNA KILL US ALLL!!", if you see what i mean. Also he radiated more sheer evil, dark power in a way i feel the GoF one kinda lacked, but that may just be the dueling with Dumbledore or something. posted sa loob ng isang taon na ang nakalipas.
