I literally got the books the DAY they came out and usually read them in no more than one or two days. No one was allowed to talk to me while I was reading the books LOL. The movies are fun I guess but they just don't measure up to the books. I'm not dissing the movies, I like them, I even own them, but the ACTUAL, COMPLETE story you can get ONLY from reading the books. I mean you can only get to know Harry's journey and character and everything by reading the books. My earliest memory of it however, was me about 3-5 getting scared when watching Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, because it was the forest scene, and Voldemort was there, and me ans my brother his behind the settee.
