Okay, in my opinion, the Hetalia fandom is scary. There are shipping wars, sub vs dub wars, and God knows what else is out there.

Personally, it makes me sick. =_=" I'm tired of this. There's some people in this fandom who seems like they want to start a fight or something. If you ask me, it's pretty immature. I want this fandom to be a peaceful place. I want to know if there's also an anime or manga fandom that is not as crazy as this. I mean, what makes people start fights? Can't we all get along??? Why can't we make this the most peaceful anime fandom?

Before you even diss others, think of how the other would feel first. Put yourself in their shoes. It's THEIR opinion, and you can't do anything to change that. You don't own their minds, so you shouldn't say anything in the first place.

Please take this into consideration. I'm pretty sure Himaruya-sensei is very stressed out, because there's battles in his fandom everywhere. If we keep on not getting along, he might even END the series. And I don't want that to happen. Put yourself in his position. If you made a super popular anime series, and there were a lot of battles going on, wouldn't YOU feel stressed out? In a way, it's kind of disrespectful. You should be grateful that he's actually continuing the series. He must be very strong, because I wouldn't be able to handle all that stress.

I think we should avoid making arguments all together. Think it over carefully. We're all one big family, after all.

TeutonicMight *nodnod* I agree completely. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions...and shipping preferences. The Hetalia fandom is like a big family, as you said. I can't help but feel like one of the messages of Hetalia is promoting peace (sometimes...*coughFrancecoughEnglandcough*) like in Paint It White, where all the countries have to band together to face a greater evil. Isn't all of this fighting sort of destroying the message? Sure, you may prefer USUK, but that doesn't mean you have to shove that down the FrUK shippers' throats. And okay, you like the sub better. But that doesn't mean you haveta go around bashing the dub, right? You're totally right...I just hope others see this. ^_^

black_amaranth Toast-Chan: I keep saying this everywhere I go here, and yet some fans still seem convinced that they own the fandom and are free to say whatever they want to others. Most of those people are all like "oh, why can't the those stupid fangirls grow" (using a lot more offensive words than that) conveniently ignoring the fact that there aren't anyone more immature than them. The amount of hate, racist, offensive comments and death threats I see here are completely absurd. It's because of all this bashing that the other fandoms consider us all weeboes. I hope that all these fangirls who make such rude commnets realise one day how childish and disrespectful they were, and for once apologise for it.

I have to say that Fanpop isn't a very good site, because no one does anything to defend others. :\ @ Amaranth: When they grow up, they'll realize how insanely rude they are. I wasn't even expecting anyone that would be rude here. And yeah, it's not surprising the other fandoms call us weeboes. This is by far one of the most violent and worst fandoms I've ever seen...

FreedomEagle Yes, but you have to keep in mind that the majority of the fandom is composed of young teenage girls. I wouldn't expect them to act much different toward an anime filled with pretty foreign boys. Don't worry, they'll mature someday. Since I'm not a shipper, I usually feel left out. I wanna talk about how fun the characters are, not who they should be paired up with. But hey, if you think Hetalia is bad, you should take a step into the Star Trek and Star Wars fandoms.

FreedomEagle @ThatGirlThatLikesToast: Yeah, it definitely looks stressful supporting and defending pairings. I don't hate them, there just aren't any that have really grown on me. I usually just stick with what's canon.

FreedomEagle Haha, and that's usually how I act during shipping wars! I just watch the fangirls kill each other from far away.

videogamergirl I've been fighting for this for the longest time. I'm so happy you made an article about the issue! You are so right. In fact, all the fights steer fans away and make them uninterested in Hetalia. I know for a fact. I'm not as into Hetalia as I used to be. Because of all of the fights. When ppl diss your opinion, it's a sucky feeling! It made me feel like a retard and made me feel like i'm the only one with that opinion. Now I know, obviously, that I'm not the only one. The ppl who bashed me and made extremely biased comments are the ones in the wrong. They're just asking for an argument. They're the reasons why everyone else in the anime world absolutely HATE the fandom and thinks we're all crazy History freaks. Which is not true AT ALL! It pisses me off because they are all chasing fans away. I mean, come on, there are more of us than there are History fangirls. That's obvious. I especially hate it when someone posts a comment, picture, article, etc. on their favorite couple and someone (history fangirl) finds it disgusting. Like, i.e., "I love this couple! They're perfect!" and then a complete troll will post something like "Ermahgerd you're a pervert, you just like eye candy, derp de durr" I hate that bs! It's childish and immature. God, I hate ppl so much. Especially the biased history jerkwads in this fandom.

I was horrified at first also but I realized that the worst they can really do is report me, but you won't be suspended for voicing your opinion. That would be retarded! If anyone starts something with you, just tell me or someone else and we'll help you out 100%! You'll become brave enough to say "You know what? You can go piss off, all I'm doing is voicing my opinion, and if you have a problem with it, than that's your damn problem. Not mine." And leave it at that.
