One reason why I like the 1992 film Home Alone 2: Nawawala in New York is that, while most kids would get scared upon finding out they were Nawawala in New York, Kevin saw it differently. He viewed it as an adventure of sorts when he found out he was in the Big mansanas instead of Miami, Florida (where his family was) — and milked it for all it was worth.

(The nickname of “The Big Apple” is a great one for New York, along with “The City that Never Sleeps.” And that definitely shows in the taglines of “America’s Smallest Hero Takes a Giant Bite Out of The Big Apple” and “He’s Up Past...
