But please don't get your hopes up: a number of us have repeatedly and forcefully asked for all this crap to stop and it hasn't happened. But good on you for speaking up about it! :)

ineedcoffee I too haven't been around lately simply because of not only the fighting but the shipping and I know I am not the only one you have to remember this is house md, not house md shipping you please take that into consideration but nobody seems to go look through the picks recently what are they about, then take a look at them from about 6 to 7 months ago, then see who hasn't been around. Please don't take this the wrong way if you want to make a pick on ships go ahead but put an answer in for non shippers.

Visitor I don't really get why the shipping-fanatics can't stick to the house-md-ship-spots so, needless to say, I completely agree with all of you. My dear House-fans... I love it that you're all so into the show... but if you want to get overly obsessive about FICTIONAL relationships (to the point where you need to fight about it and annoy us; peacefull fanpoppers) then it might be time to take it down a notch. rose2 well,i don't compeletely agree with you guys.yeah,fanpop should be a peacuful place and it is.i mean,deagreements and fights there are everywhere.you know,i say my opinion,another person doesn't agree and says his opinion and it might end up being a fight.where's the problem?if i,you or any other user feels like his favorite ship or character is offended by another user has the right to support what he believes.

Juliana_House I haven't really noticed it that much, because I don't get too deep into the relationships on this show. But you do make a strong point. I'm more of a House (the character)studier. All I really do the first time I watch a new episode is watch how House behaves. How he acts, and study his personality. The second time I watch it, I usually try to pick up the things I might not have cared for the first time. (Stupid stuff, like, what colour are House's shoes this time? And stuff like that.) Then the third time...I just try to watch it as a whole, and just try to enjoy the episode as it was intended. So while I may support many ships and I'm not fully dedicated to one ship, (Hameron, Huddy, and Thouse) I hope that we can all be friends... ^_^ After all, this is the House MD spot...the happiest place on earth.

salemslot Completely agree with your last comment,rose2!Everyone has a right to support their favourite character or ship on the House Md because simply those are aspects of the show as long as it is in civilised boundaries.It is intellectually stimulating when we are able to express our opinion in reasonable limits without resorting into personal attacks and obscenities.However,we have to acknowledge that the line between arguying over sth or someone and fighting is so thin that it often dissolves before our eyes.I don't agree with the opinion that we shouldn't get all worked up over fictional characters.You are forgetting what a fan is.The word fan comes from the Latin word fanum which means sacred,therefore most of us cherish characters and ships as something worthwhile to protect.Most of us here are completely insane over the show so we tend to overact.Of cours,we will argue and kill each other,it's human nature.But,this makes spots like this fun to be a part of,observing how people react under certain conditions.You are completely forgetting that we are from different countries,cultures,from different backgrounds,education and age and don't take into account those feautures which dissociate one from another which normally will result to arguements. People who participate in threads or links which eventually lead to fights KNOW what they're getting into,so they shouldn't play all dumb and hide behind their finger and be all self-righteous.Don't forget,it takes two to tango,so don't blame certain individuals.I'm not advocating fights here(NON OF US should start behaviouring erratically when and if misantrope86's attempt for a House MD forum happens) but the thing is that with this rate,in the end we will stop making picks because it will irritate people and will start forms of seggregation(who/what is better etc.),stop publishing articles because they will start a storm of controversy which will end,like rose2 said,us turning into zombies who in the name of the unity of the spot won't express their opinion.If that day comes,then I will depart.If someone is annoyed with a particular individual,they can simpply send him a message to clear the air and not go on with the fight where hundreds of fans can see it.In order for this charade to come to an end,just make a forum thread and set some ground rules if this situation ANNOYS YOU SO MUCH and stop complaining about the doing of others!Take measures yourself!!!

cocacola I just think its silly that people fight tooth and claw over the thing. We can express our opinion about our ships but in a way thats not bashing, right? Saying how GOOD your ship is happens to be a lot different than saying how BAD another person's is. We can express our opinions but we have to remember that House is about the ships, after all you don't buy gum so you can stick the wrappers everywhere right? We as House fans should appreciate the show as a whole, yeah maybe a little disagreement every now and then but not so much that it will pit people against eachother.

misanthrope86 Um... I have never been in a "ship fight" rose2. I have intervened in ship fights and told people to shut up, but I have never said that my shipping is better than someone elses shipping and i have never called someone stupid for liking a ship that I don't like. Debate is great and healthy. But I haven't seen debate lately. I have seen hate and disrespect by the truckload. If people want their opinions respected, they need to respect the opinions of others.
