As always please comment. =)

That night Sarah and Cuddy were having their annual diagnosing competition. They would turn on Mystery Diagnosis and Diagnosis Unknown on the Discovery Health Channel and bet on the answer. If it was a case that someone was being poisoned they would bet on who was poisoning them. During commercials they would talk.
“Have you started looking at pseudo-parents for your spawn yet,” Sarah asked.
”I got some profiles from social services on the way home,” Cuddy replied wearily.
“Have you looked at them?”
Cuddy sighed heavily.
“No.”
“How come?”
For a few minutos Cuddy remained silent.
“I’m not sure…if I want to do this.”
“Earlier today you were talking about suffering for eighteen years if no one would adopt it.”
”I didn’t want to tell anyone because I’m sick of hearing how wrong I am about everything. I get that I fucked up my life, I don’t need affirmation, nor do I want it.”
“None of this is your fault Cuddy. No one is blaming you.”
“I’m the one who lead him on and then turned him down and then agreed to talk to him in my office alone.”
“You accepted help from him, you didn’t lead him. You would’ve been leading him on had you agreed to go to hapunan with him even though you are not attracted to him. What were you supposed to do? Marry him?”
“I don’t know.”
Sarah brought her hand to her forehead.
“If you would let me psychoanalyze you or let me refer to you to another psychiatrist I could be of use, but you won’t. You are rendering me useless.”
“I’m fine.”
“God, Cuddy, you. Are not. Fine,” Sarah practically shrieked.
She was standing in front of Cuddy, her expression one of frustration and anger. Never since they had met had Cuddy seen Sarah ipakita any emotion whatsoever. Cuddy sat, staring up at her, looking shocked and frightened, like she thought Sarah was going to hit her.
“You aren’t an idiot Cuddy, you have at least some idea of how this is going to end if you don’t do something.”
It ends when you die, the words were emblazoned in Cuddys’ memory forever.
“I am not going to sit here and watch you die. If this is how you want to handle it, when you get to a certain point I will be forced to do something that will make you hate me. You know me enough to know that I’m not fucking around. I will institutionalize your asno if it comes to that and I will use force. I’m not afraid to just because you were raped.”
“I’m not psychotic.”
“Enjoy that while it lasts. You keep doing nothing he’s just going to pull you apart piece sa pamamagitan ng piece until you can’t be put back together again. Then you will live twenty-four seven in a string of hallucinations and flashbacks forever locked in the torture you are trying so hard to repress.”
“I am not doing nothing,” Cuddy wailed, “I fought him every time he came after me. I testified against him. What has that done for me? I’m pregnant and I spent two weeks in jail.”
“I figured you would fight him every time and I was there when you testified against him. I was talking about something that would end all of this.”
“Like what?”
“I don’t know yet, but we can think of something,” Sarah answered wearily.
She had been trying to think of a solution for days. The only way this would end was if Cuddy died or Tritter died and if Tritter died the judge and whoever else was involved would frame Cuddy and get her locked away for the rest of her life, or get her on death row. Probably the later. Unwittingly, she began to pace in front of the couch.
“We are both very good at getting out of seemingly inescapable situations. If neither of us can think of anything than it means that all I can do is persevere and hope he gets bored,” Cuddy sinabi quietly.
“We’ll think of something,” Sarah replied vehemently.
The doorbell rang interrupting their conversation. Both of them looked at the clock wondering who it could be at this hour. It was possible that it was House, but neither of them made a ilipat for the door. The silence was oppressive and tense, each one of them weighing their need to know everything against their fear. Finally, Sarah walked over to the door and stood on tip-toes to peer through the peep-hole. After what seemed like eternity she flattened her feet looking confused and opened the door.
“What’s going on,” Cuddy asked, unable to take the suspense any longer.
Sarah ignored her and picked up a large white envelope off the stoop and returned to the living room.
“What’s that,” Cuddy asked nervously.
“An envelope,” Sarah replied examining the parcel.
“Well, what’s inside?”
“Let me use my x-ray vision and find out. I don’t know, I haven’t opened the damn thing.”
Sarah turned it over and saw the black scrawl that Cuddy had become all too familiar with.
“Oh boy, I pag-ibig rapist-grams.”
“Shut up,” Cuddy groaned as she brought her hand to her forehead.
Sarah pried the envelope open and took out a large pile of photographs. The one on tuktok was a picture of her and Cuddy in the cafeteria. A red dashed line lead from the window to the back of her head. It was the type of line snipers drew on pictures of their victims to pick the best angle at which to shoot them. The susunod ten were of her at various points during the araw with the same red dashed lines. The last one of her was a replica of her hospital ID litrato with the word deceased stamped across it in red. All of the rest were of Cuddy throughout the day, except the very last one. That one was from a few minutos ago, of Sarah pacing in front of the sopa and Cuddy sitting there, staring at her in bewilderment.
“Alas, the point of no return,” Sarah muttered.
Cuddy yanked the mga litrato out of Sarah’s hand and flipped through them looking horrified.
“This is why I told you to stay out of this.”
“First of all, I have always been aware of the inevitable risk of my life, that would be why I now have a last will and testament. Second, what part of ‘alas, the point of no return’ did you not understand. It was too late for me even before I knew about this simply due to my association with you.”
“Do you not value your life?”
“I pag-ibig my life, but we have always been in things together. I made my choice a while nakaraan and if it costs me my life so be it.”
