AN: uy guys!
So, I kind of died on the Huli spot, but I'm here! And I have a Huli fanfic...kind of. I was mangarap ng gising in Biology one day, and ended up with this.
Anyways, here we go - first Huli fanfic!
Guilt
She was as guilty as hell and she knew it.
Had falling in pag-ibig been a crime, she'd be in jail for life and the afterlife. Lisa never really meant to fall, she never wanted to.
Wait. No. Back up.
What the hell was she saying. Everyone wanted to fall in pag-ibig with Hugh Laurie. How could they not? He was a British actor with great talent and a sense of humor.
But this was worse. It was considered unprofessional to fall in pag-ibig with a coworker. Forget them being married or not. It just wasn't something that was done. Of course it happened all the time, secret pag-ibig affairs, passionate nights spent together, bribes exchanged for pag-ibig and sudden marriages.
Lisa Edelstein wasn't one of those people, she didn't want to be marked as a woman who chased after her coworkers and producers, looking for love.
She never meant to tell Hugh the truth, she didn't want to send mixed signals to him - especially because he was a married man. She didn't mean to tell him that each boyfriend she had was only a temporary distraction since she couldn't have the man she really wanted. But tonight she had stepped a little too far. She didn't mean to halik him - she didn't mean to tell him that she really loved him.
But she did.
It wasn't supposed to go further than that kiss. Hugh was supposed to stay loyal to Jo, even though Lisa sometimes wished the opposite for their marriage. She wasn't supposed to have found happiness when his lips reconnected with hers segundos later, nor was she supposed to be happy that his arms had wound around her waist, holding her tightly against him.
He wasn't supposed to have promised to never let go, or to pag-ibig her madami than any other man could – but he did. And it scared her.
Hugh was risking madami than his neck – in fact, he was risking his whole career, for them to share what would be nothing madami than this one kiss. Yet she couldn't say no to him, nor would she want to; she was powerless when it came to being on the receving end of his affection.
She wanted him to want her madami than anything.
She just couldn't let herself fall too hard because she knew the climb back up would be impossible for her to manage.
