John watched as Adile picked up her bags and walked away from him. He never thought he would let her go but he knew where he belonged and it wasn't with her. He wandered around the city for awhile, thinking of his past and the choices he made which lead him to be where he is now. Brendan Shae was his past, he had been him for 15 years and never questioned his judgement unitl he met his new team. He saw how they all worked together as unit, something which was forgien to him. The team already had their perceptions of him due to his background but he knew he would be able to help them ipakita the units worth. But he couldn't leave Brendan behind or could he leave Adile. It wasn't till now he saw what kind of women she really was.
He stood outside Martha's front door, hesitating to knock. He took a breathe then knocked. He heard her footsteps and she opened the door. She looked a little surprised to see him.

'What are you doing? Shouldn't you be half way across the world sa pamamagitan ng now?'
'Look Martha, just let explain..'
She let out a chuckle.
'Explain? Explain what? How you lied to the entire team or better yet, the police force?'

They stood in silence for a moment.

He followed her inside as she walked into the kitchen. She went into the cupboard and took out two wine glasses then began to pour them each a drink.

She handed him a glass.

They both took a sip, finding this equally awkward.
'Look Martha..'
'No, don't.'

'I don't want to hear your apologies, you brought all this upon yourself. If you were honest with me from the begininng...'
'How was i suppose to tell you? Just walk into your office and go 'Oh sa pamamagitan ng the way im still using my undercover identity to keep in touch with my girlfriend?' you would have gone striaght to the head and told him.'
'Ok, maybe i would have but you could have told me about Adile, about your relationship.'

'Well, either you tell superintendent or Anthony will if he hasn't already.'

'John, if you don't tell and Anthony does you'll come off worse. The super needs to hear it from you.' She took his hand. 'and i will support you in anyway i can.'

John slipped his hands down to her waist and pulled her in closer, never wanting to let go.
